Honestly Robert, I think it's the Atheists with Fundamentalist Religious backgrounds that have a deep hatred for the follies of religion. I think we know what I am talking about. To answer your question, it is those who understand non-religion. Does this qualify as a valid answer?

LOL. I've never heard of a secret society of atheists. Remember that the only thing that atheists must have in common is their shared disbelief in god(s). Other than that I am sure atheists have very different positions on everything else.

If there is a secret society then I've never been asked to join. Have you ever heard the expression getting atheists together is like herding cats? We aren't joiners.

So, if there is a secret society it's secret to us as well.

I have never heard of any such societies, and cannot imagina a reason for one to exist.
