More like 80% in jail are Muslim. There are more Christians converting to Muslim in jail. Muslim religion is a more soothing religion when someone goes behind bars.

Being religious has nothing to do with morality. Hardly any of the moral code followed by society comes from scriptures (when was the last time you stoned someone for adultery??) and morality probably is something that evolved as a mechanism for the survival of the human race. Read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins for more information. I'm an atheist and haven't even got a speeding ticket, so I would hardly call myself without morals.

You made a false allegation. Christians do not state that atheists have no morals. ALL HUMANS have morals, it's only what KIND of morals they have. For atheists, they also have morals and believe that some things are right and some things are wrong. The only problem is: they do not have an objective and authoritative basis for those morals or for determining what's right and what's wrong.

Why would you suppose that atheists have no morals? Granted, religions claim to be the repositories of moral virtue, but those claims are erroneous. A proper moral code derives from evolution, which applies to societies as well as to species; a society with a sound moral code will survive preferably to one that does not. (Consider the late, unlamented, Soviet Union, which died because of an incorrect understanding of property rights.)

Most people are raised by their parents to be nice, don't talk back, don't steal, etc..We just don't take the stories (some of us) heard growing up as literal truth.
