i get many of the accusations people throw toward islam today but i dont understand this claim at all. islam does not allow rape; the Quran forbids it and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) put a man to death when he raped another woman. the punishment for rape is not a few months in jail--it's death!! the fact that some muslims still rape women does not prove anything. i'm not defending the actions of muslims; many are muslims only by name. now if a christian raped a women i would not say that he represents christianity because i know better. the crime rate in islamic countries is very low, especially in Saudi Arabia. there is no where in the Quran that allows rape. so why do people say these things? and then if one person would say something like that i would ignore it but then i see many people over here agreeing!

Consider that, in the end, nothing will exist.

imagine their was no after-life reward for being faithfull to god. no heaven.
just the satisfaction of serving god while you are alive, and no other benefit. you live, you serve, you fade to nothing
now, imagine the life that YOU live here on earth.
you live out your life trying to be faithful to god, but you can't help but to notice that your life, your particular situation, isn't AMAZINGLY better or more blessed than the typical non-believer. In fact most non-believers would probably say they are about as happy with their existence as you are.
now, imagine that you die and become non-existent.
without being given a heaven, would you feel like you were ripped off?
does there need to be a eternal reward for serving god in order for it to be worthwhile, considering that atheist are relatively just as happy with their life as christians are ?

The Wiccan Rede: "If you harm none, do what you will" (or some slight variation thereof). A core tenet of the Wiccan faith.

A simple phrase, but I'd say that simplicity is deceptive. It takes great dedication to live by the Rede and to apply it consistantly in one's everyday life.

How do you interpret those eight little words? How do you live them? Is it difficult? Is it easy? And what do you think of the addendum to the Rede: "If you must harm, do only what is necessary"?

Why is this category so popular, yet people are so immature and ask such ridiculous questions that it gets annoying? Cant the ones who dont care about God find a different category to be immature in? Or do you think that the immature ones, really want to get close to God but they are too afraid so they come to this category and choose to act out and make jokes, so they dont have to feel so inferior?

Read any newspaper or yahoo.com news or TV. There is so many stories of crime, war, and terriorism.
Before the flood of Noah's day he said, "the end of all flesh has come before me because the earth is full of violence."
Is it any less violent today?

In response to this question, I've stated a biblical answer. Typical rebuttals are that Christians are not to judge, that it is an attempt to demonize them, or it is stereotyping them. These words are not my judgement. They are from God. He alone judges and will judge everyone according to their works. I present them to you as act of love and caring, not wanting you to perish for your unbelief, just as God does Himself. I know that many have hardened their hearts, thinking it is all foolishness. Of course, you must first believe that He exists. There are some who the Spirit has been goading, and my hope and prayer is that they reconsider. Know that it is an evil, and there is still time to repent and turn from this wicked way. Am I judging, or am I just another voice crying out in the wilderness?

I don't understand it. I really do believe in God and know Jesus died for all of our sins. I just don't understand how God was just there. Does anyone know? Or will it remain a mystery?
