Before the flood of Noah's day he said, "the end of all flesh has come before me because the earth is full of violence."
Is it any less violent today?

The Bible tells of great losses of life before the end of the world. There will even be a battle so heinous a whole valley will be filled with blood. Of course it's violent.

Violence sells. That is why you see more of that than anything in the news. Point your focus elsewhere if you want to find the loving kindness still present in a few good folks.

I hope it is less violent today, but if it isn't then Jesus will be coming soon and millions are not ready to meet Jesus. This makes me sad.

New Testament Book of Matthew, Jesus says, " as in the days of Noah, so will it be in the latter days"

yes.

if i recall correctly your god decided to destroy an entire city of people because they did things he didnt like. if that isnt evidence that the past 9even the mythological past) was more violent i dont know hat was.

but alas the mythological past isnt real and that never happened.

but lets not forget the crusades & inquisitions.

focus people, don't be distract by those negative things, all these will pass. Focus on God's economic, meaning of human life, Body of Christ. trust me it will worth enternally.
