Opus Dei is an organization founded in Spain in 1928 by Josemaria Escriva de Balaguer. the only thing i can really tell you is that opus dei is latin for the work of god.

It is an orthodox movement within the Catholic Church that practises orthodox Catholicism is all. It is not secretive but, it is not for everyone because it is pretty severe in the way it makes reperation for the insults and slams against the Holy Spirit, Jesus, Mary and God the Father.
