It's rather ironic that a religion which so publicly proclaims Absolute Love as its basis should, over the course of history, spawn so much unmitigated hatred and violence. Is it simply that Christianity is a failure in inspiring better conduct from otherwise hopelessly evil human beings, or is there some aspect of Christianity which in fact encourages or promotes some of the baser aspects of human behavior?

Think about the

-Inquisition
-Crusades
-Reformation
-Witchhunts
-Holocaust

Now let's think about the Jews. Jews were forcibly baptized, then treated as heretics under the Inquisition if they dared to return to Jewish ways. Jews were accused of poisoning wells in an attempt to exterminate Christians (oh, the irony!). Jews were forced into ghettos. Jews were prohibited from participating in a wide variety of occupations. Jews were ordered to wear identifying badges by religious authorities so that everyone would know who they were.

Here is an easy one or hard one you make the call. If modern man was to be wiped out today and only our ape counterparts were to survive do you think that evolution would follow the same path it did before and create another planet full of humans like us or would another race or species take over? If apes are still evolving then it stands to reason that even if humans wiped themselves out another form of humanity would stand to take our place.

There is said to have been a lost continent like Atlantis in the Pacific Ocean called Lemuria. My studies indicate that they migrated to Easter Island and the Indus Valley.
There are in fact two "lost" languages known to man that are almost identical. One comes from Easter Island, the other from the Indus Valley!
The Giant Heads on Easter Island are supposed to be a memorial to the Lost Land
of Mu!

Maybe their God is the Earth.
Maybe their version of the Apocalypse is "Global Warming".
Maybe their Communion is bean sprouts and hummus.
Maybe their Penance is bathing sporadically.
Maybe their Lord's Prayer is "Imagine" by John Lennon (who by the way probably doubles as their Messiah and Son of God).
Maybe the Seven Deadly Sins are:
1. Driving an SUV.
2. Not recycling.
3. Using regular lightbulbs.
4. Buying non-organic foods.
5. Owning anything made out of real wood.
6. Diapering your baby with disposable diapers.
7. Having more than 1.2 children.

What do you think?

Do people realize that gay people can't HELP but be gay?

I know this because I had a friend who tried to be straight for 15 years of his life. Then, after that he completely broke down and admitted that he was gay and that he had tried to hide it in order to avoid being taunted by people.

Clearly he did not wake up one sunny morning and just say, "Hmmm, this is a fine morning to be gay! :)"

I can't understand why god-loving people can be gay-hating people at the same time.

I think we should change it to:

In Xenu we trust

And while were at it, change the pledge of alligance to:

One nation, under the guidance of the mother ship.

Who agree's with me? What would you change these to?

Why don't people teach their children how to look at things from a logical standpoint, and not a hateful one? Should parents who teach their children to hate others based only on religion or ethnicity have their children taken from them? I've reported one such case because the mother was so insane that I feared for their lives. Look at the case of the one mentally ill mother who drowned her 5 children in the family tub, or at the mother who literally strapped her two boys into their car seats and sent the car into the river. Should people with mental illnesses such as some displayed on this very board have their children taken from them for the fear that they may harm them? If they can be this way with strangers and show so much hatred, aren't you afraid for the children?
