Probably. It was a different era. Women didn't even have the right to vote until the 20th century. Discrimination is nothing new and yes, it's in the bible as well. The bible is about people and guess what? People discriminate! Hate is as old as time. It still goes on today so of course it went on back then.
Times change, people don't.

I believe so, but let's look at what happened in those situations.
people use the old testament to say it's okay to do all kinds of bad things to people just because it's in the Bible. God didn't just punish people for the sake of seeing them hurt. God allowed the Israelites a lot of rights with their captors, but for a reason. The people the Israelites conquered were immoral, evil people. They would not change their hearts before God. God allowed them to be conquered to show them where they stood before God.
Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin.. You can only turn from God for so long before God warns you and lets you stay in darkness.
God allowed his own children to be captured and taken as slaves but for the same reasons. The Children of Israel were disobeying God's laws so God let them be captured for seventy years.
The Egyptians had the Israelites as slaves for four hundred years.. is this OKAY.. NO.. but it's how the world is.
I don't condone slavery of any kind OR the mistreatment of women, or children..
God also showed his good side in the Old Testament.
so for people to use the Bible as a means to say it's okay to do something wrong to people is in my opinon blasphemous..
God also says.. people will do bad things to others. because of free will this is how sin nature is.. BUT he also warns them of his wrath if they choose to do harm to others.

Who gave you these "human rights"? Who owes anything to you? Just because the western world has decided that people should have certains rights, (BTW many of those rights are very debatable) does not mean that is what God actually has given us. So what you are suggesting here is that if we accept your concept of human rights then that makes God wrong. But if I accept God's concept of human rights, then you are wrong. I find most rights delegated by human governments usually deny others their rights. God's rights are universal for all.

Like? Example please. There were many things against men too. But remember, this is a history book of sorts which is also used for instruction and example. Is the world today any different? No it isn't. Remember, there is nothing new under the sun.

* You cannot judge the past using modern thinking. If you were to take a time machine and take your modern thinking to their world, you would be the one with illegal ideas. Man evolves and that is why past humankind is different than modren mankind. We have evolved into more civilised people, and 1,000 years from now, they will judge us for being primitives with unlawfull customs.*

Name one? Edit: lol, oh. The OT.
Human rights were different back then.
In regards to the NT,
If you mean this:
Ephesians 5
22Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— 30for we are members of his body. 31"For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."[c] 32This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
... It's pretty clear that we are equally supposed to serve each other.

the bible allows slavery but Joseph told his brothers it was evil for them to enslave him
