without endangering Buddhism’s primary focus on individual salvation?

Please explain the histories. I don't want a religious point of view, I want to know who really was responsible for writing it. Please don't tell me that Moses wrote the Old Testament. I want real solid proof where the Bible actually came from.

She has been single for as long as I have known her (about 5 years) and obviously wants children of her own. I find it awkward to talk to her about it as I believe there are many couples out there (esp those who cannot afford IVF) unable to have children yet the NHS helps her and she's on her own.

Apologizing in advance for being a tad noninclusive and passionate about what I'm saying, I'd appreciate serious answers from a Christian viewpoint. Nonsensical answers shall be ignored.
I'm a fourteen year old Christian young woman, walking with God without the spiritual guidance of my parents. I firmly believe that we are in the End Times, and in the next 35 to 50 years that the Final Antichrist (I call "it" the Great Contender) will come to power. I think that right now, he is a growing teenager, waiting for further instruction from the Devil. So many prophesies have been fulfilled! The war in the Middle East, the increase in technology, the pestilence and famine. For example, did you know that over 800 million people in the world STARVE every day? This coming false prophet, therefore, will appear to billions of human beings to be a Christ-like figure. But his message will be that of Satan the Devil! What are everyone's opinions on the prophesies of the Bible and the future to come?

"Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?" (l Corinthians 11:14).

How many freaked out long-haired, bible thumping Jesus freaks do you know? Perhaps this is just my experience, but I can name 12 such individuals off the top of my head. Surely, you can recall at least ONE LONG-HAIRED CHRISTIAN.

The stereotypical version of CHRIST HIMSELF! Think of the numerous statues and pictures Christians adore depicting the lord appearing as that which he detests. One can not stop and wonder at the absurdity of this...

Atheists say, Christians this and Christians that. Why can't we stick to the facts about and in the Bible instead of criticizing Christians.

I ask this because there is a technology that has been around since the early 20th century called radiometric dating http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiometric_dating. This is trusted technology and is used by archaeologists to accurately determine the age of naturally occurring elements by determining the amount of radioactive decay. The age of many of these elements prove beyond doubt that the earth is much older than 10 000 years. If the beliefs held by creationists force them to deny the proof that this technology gives us, then does that mean that they also have to deny the whole science of nuclear principles?

I asked this before but if you though i was trying to keep the answer away, here it is:
Two Popes and two Councils of the Catholic Church determined the Canon of the Bible. Popes Damasus (in 382) and Innocent I (in 405), and the Councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage (397) all approved the books that we have in the Bible today. Before then there was no official list, especially concerning the New Testament. But the list was determined by the authority of the Catholic Church. You can look through ecclesiastical history, that's where it came from.
If you accept that the books in the Bible are the only inspired ones, you are accepting that on the authority of the Catholic Church.
So either the Catholic Church is the master deceiver, and you can't say for certain if the Bible is actually God's Word--- or it's right, and we have the Bible. Which one?

Please?

I'll do my best to email back.

Considering one Atheist believes all us Christians answer like infants and stuff..

And don't be sarcastic and cruel.

You could make infants cry like that.

Honestly. I think it's pretty bad when a 2,000 year old book with an unknown author controls EVERYTHING some people do. I understand if you need some sort of structure or guidance, but I think some people take it way too far. I know people are going to get offended by this but here it goes... Evolution is proven scientific fact, our DNA differs from chimpanzees by only 0.02%! Also, the big bang theory if you ever get a chance to read it makes alot more sense than the bible. We do have some evidence to support it, though it is not yet proven. The bible, however, was written 2,000 years ago, in an era where people believed in sea monsters, dragons, and other myths. We don't know who wrote it, and we can't prove that any of it happened. Sorry if your offended, but that's my view. Please explain why the bible rules so many people's lives. I'm open to all comments.

Jesus once said that "It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:24.

Now, don't even try to rationalize. Jesus was as poor as dirt and you know it. He preached in the wilderness for half his life, for goodness' sake! And yet, we have the Pope and those Christian business tycoons and Televangelists that make more money than the average man can in 30 years...

Hypocrisy of Marital Relationships: So many Christians try to rationalize this but it is clear that a true follower of Jesus can neither divorce someone nor marry someone who is divorced. There is an exception to the rule, however. If spouse commits adultery, divorce is permissible. On the same token, the Bible also says that anyone who obtains a divorce and marries another is in adulterer. Remember that 80% of this country is Christian yet we have a 50% divorce rate....
