If you go outside and look up at the sky, you can clearly see that there is more to universe than Earth. Which means there is a high possibility of Others living like we do on other planets...

I don't believe in Jesus anymore. Every single one of my family and friends are Christian and they'll be devastated to hear that I left the church. I'm afraid that they'll hate me and condemn me to hell forever.

In tears, down on their knees?
May we ask God to bring them home,
From a war that should have already ended?
May our faith reveal the alterior motives,
Of those we so blindly befriended?
Shall we take for granted the blessings we have,
In order to regain those blessings we lost,
By doing so, would it give back the lives,
Of those who have paid such a cost?
More than revenge for a terrorist attack,
That took us by a deadly suprise,
More than high fuel prices, or hidden weapons,
As another million tears pass our eyes,
May we ask why there are so many more,
Able bodies that are not allowed,
To become a part of the forces that defend,
Held back from being the few and the proud,
As we face another day of watching,
Our country's battles all over the news,
How many of you are getting a little mad,
As another Mom and Dad are singing the blues?
Over the loss of another son,
Or daughter who went off to war,
Valiantly defending the U.S.A.,
Attempting to even the score?

Today was a terribly sad day. Last night a boy in the 6th grade, (one I knew) at the school I work at, committed suicide by hanging himself with a cord from his computer. It has been suggested by his friends, some of whom he told he was going to do it, that it was basically because of a girlfriend who had dumped him in December. Obviously, this is tragic. I'm not a Christian, but I heard a few people comment today that now he wouldn't go to heaven. Personally I think that is somewhat akin to kicking a child while they are down as far as they can go. I don't believe in heaven or hell, but I think that if most people believe that what he did was bad enough to deserve burning in hell..(at the age of 11)..that is absolutely atrocious. Christians, I'm not here in an attempt to blacken your doctrine, I simply ask for a straight answer, and if you would..the logical reasoning behind it. Please folks, no stupid jokes or comments..

I know some of you guys are going to argue about charity and all that sweet stuff. But please give it a thought.

Let's take charity for example. No matter how many thousands of dollars you donate, no matter how many clothes you send in, a part of the reason to why you do those things is so you sleep better at night, improve your self esteem, or to look good on your college resume. Perhaps even more, to get your own butt into heaven.

And then there's the politicians. Notice how every U.S. president so far has been a Christian male? It sure is hard to get people's votes if you aren't religious isn't it...so they claim to be a "god fearing man", thereby winning votes.

Going even further back into history: face it. Almost every European ruler/emperor/king has used Christianity to booster his own wealth/ power. They called it the "Divine Right," claiming that the royal were only a rank below god. Divine right my a**. I doubt even the christians of today would believe that claim...

I think that people who call themselves Christians and are imitating Jesus should take a closer look at themselves to better understand the man they call god.

According to the trinity doctrine, more is involved than the Bible just saying (or implying) that Jesus is God. So scriptures like John 10:30 ("I and the Father are one") will not work. It must also show that the Father, Son, and holy spirit are of the same substance, eternity, and power. It must also show that they all make up one God. Where can I find such a thought in the Bible?

I do not believe that Christ was a pacifist--but neither was he the warrior king the Jews were expecting. How can we follow his example? Does this justify things like the Crusades, which are the embodiment of the physical 'milles Christi'?

No one.

Nope not Atheists, not Christians, not Muslims, Not Jews..etc.etc.

NO ONE!

Everyone has their own ideas or what they have read from a book (the Bible, the Quran..etc) but NO ONE KNOWS.

No one died and than came back to life to enlighten us. Or no one experienced it themselves to know for sure.

What you believe in is your choice! What you think is going to happen is your knowledge! What you feel is what you have came to decide!

It is a personal choice.

So why do you try to convert other people into what YOU believe in?

Everyone can research on their own to decide!

Everyone can come to find their answer for themselves by themselves.
