In tears, down on their knees?
May we ask God to bring them home,
From a war that should have already ended?
May our faith reveal the alterior motives,
Of those we so blindly befriended?
Shall we take for granted the blessings we have,
In order to regain those blessings we lost,
By doing so, would it give back the lives,
Of those who have paid such a cost?
More than revenge for a terrorist attack,
That took us by a deadly suprise,
More than high fuel prices, or hidden weapons,
As another million tears pass our eyes,
May we ask why there are so many more,
Able bodies that are not allowed,
To become a part of the forces that defend,
Held back from being the few and the proud,
As we face another day of watching,
Our country's battles all over the news,
How many of you are getting a little mad,
As another Mom and Dad are singing the blues?
Over the loss of another son,
Or daughter who went off to war,
Valiantly defending the U.S.A.,
Attempting to even the score?

Of course. We can also pray our enemies have a change of heart. We all need to pray for peace, but how many of us do? Instead we sing songs of revenge in the name of our respective countries and religion.

Lord have mercy on us all.

Prays should be said for everyone involved in this terrible war. For the men and women still in the war, I pray that they come home safe and sound. For the men and women who gave their lives I pray that their families can find some peace. For the men and women who have been wounded I pray that medical help is available to help them heal. And to all of the Iraq and Afghanistan people I pray terrorism will not be a way of life anymore.

Ask your mom kindly to stop screaming at you to wake you up. Also try to set your alarm clock to wake you sometime BEFORE Fajr ends, but not when it starts right away just in case you can't fall asleep. You will need to think of a schedule you can follow. Or, of course, you can ask your mom to gently wake you up at a certain time. What I do if I wanna wake up at a certain time or fall asleep quickly is I just do dua and it works. I also believe there is a hadeeth that if you do tasbeeh or dhikr of any type, shaitan makes you fall asleep, and I find it works when I do it sincerely. Remember, though, you need to pray.

Nice.

But we can pray for our Bush Baby to stop acting like an ape, so that our dear soldiers wont suffer and die alone and away from their families.
