Her faith is suspect when she demands Christians obey and pay her to get to heaven then says she doesn't know if God knows her future. That shows lack of faith in God in the opinions of some.

I didn't grow up going to church. As an adult, whenever I go to a church, either for a wedding, Sunday service, or even just walking in to sit for a spell, I cry.
I feel like I need to sit there and cry and cry and cry. It's like I feel a burden I want to unload. I do manage to stop the tears, but when I leave, I feel exhausted from the effort. Like today, when everyone was saying "Grant you peace, perfect peace, courage in every endeavor..." I had to bite my lip and the tears were rolling.
How can I feel joy? Do I need to have a huge cry for once and for all?

Why is the Catholic Church more capable of reasoning out that there must be some kind of supernatural ethical guidlines and punishment according to degree of cruelty or injustice as we at least strive for here on earth?
Why is it only the Evangelical American Protestants who think God must see a serial child rapist and murderer the same as he sees the person who stole a dollar?--Both worthy of heaven if they love him and are sorry and both equally worthy of hell if they don't?

And why is it the Catholic church believes in paying for your sins in the afterlife?--Which we would all HOPE to be true if someone got away with murder and never saw justice...

Yet Evangelicals talk the talk about abortion and homosexuality, yet what does morality matter to them at all when all it really comes down to is what you believe?

Right after college I had this crappy job managing inside salespeople, There was one woman who wouldn't call a number if it had 3 or more sixes in it. She had to keep a separate pile of all the cards she refused to call so somebody else could do it.

The March for Life people mentioned that there are 8 million aborted 'babies' and yet they can only report 2100 unhappy people in the world who have regrets over their own abortion experience, and that there only 50 willing to come forward in the US to spewak of their personal regrets? Thank God, there are more women who still are determined that women's bodies ought not be controlled by organizations and the governments. Women should never let America take them back to the miserable and injustice days of the Victoria Era. We've all come a long way and should never let these Nellie Gray-types take us back to the DARK AGES. Isn't it wierd that the March of Life have a series of men, not women leaders representing the group to spit out fire?

Scientific research into the aging process is uncovering a wealth of information on death at the molecular level. Some researchers are suggesting that in the future death will be thought of as more of a disease than an inevitability. So, if this line of research delivers, where does that leave religion? Note: I am not commenting on the probability of science "curing" death. I remain, as always, skeptical. I'm simply curious where you think this would leave religion.

That they believe in the magical properties of ‘matter?’ According to them, and in defiance of natural law, MATTER of its own accord created:- the universe, living things, order, design, intelligence, information, consciousness, emotions, love, motion, justice, beauty, art, kindness etc. etc. For an event to occur in defiance of natural law, is either a miracle or magic. Atheists rule out the supernatural which would not be subject to natural law, so they rule out miracles performed supernaturally. Therefore they must believe that matter has intrinsic magical properties and the inherent ability to produce all the qualities evident in the material universe of its own volition.
