All that is going on in the world and people are self-centered enough to believe god takes special time to test their faith.
Remarkably egocentric -- of both the person *and* god.

God does not send terrible events to test us. James 1:13,14 states: When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire
Also, as someone else mentioned, the entire book of Job. God never causes evil or bad things to happen. He does, however ALLOW certain things to happen, but that is a far cry from being the cause of it. He is allowing it to happen only for a time. Not only does he not cause suffering, he provides help and won't allow so much that we can't bear.
1 Cor. 10:13 states: No temptation has taken you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out in order for you to be able to endure it.

Why would someone that Christians profess loves them so much test them all the time ? I as a mother do not test my children by putting poisons in front of them, and my kids father does not test them or by leaving the baby outside in the cold without clothes. A loving parent doe s NOT seek to harm its child it does not seek to test love that is why the whole xtian God thing is smashed to pieces

I don't believe God test faith, but he brings you through tough times if you have faith. It's true that old poem about footprints in the sand. You'll feel like you're at the end of your rope and if you have faith, you will get thru it with no other reason but for the grace of God...

I believe that everyone goes through hard times in their life, when they survive it and turn to the people who care thats when they become stronger and learn what life is about. It can be really hard suffering and death and all that, but I don't believe God lets it happen, I believe he's the one thats present in all the people that help the suffering person feel better.
God Bless You and may others help you when you need someone to be there.

allowing and putting you with the help of a few thing are really diverse even though it will be splitting hairs. Face it in case you try to stay the Christian existence ordeals are a existence-type. Jesus become no longer spared and he become the son of God. ought to we assume extra? heavily, if we actually want to adhere to God we will be examined and performance to verify on on a daily basis whom we are able to serve. with the help of this procedure, as with a crucible, we are sophisticated and the dross is burned away. contained sooner or later a extra effective product is formed and the remnant that become separated is waste. excitement is a humorous component. once you already recognize that you're being examined, inspite of the author, you spot that you're certainly a baby of God and if he retains his promise about the undesirable he will honestly keep his promise about the strong. keep in innovations this, we honestly spoke on it in the present day in Sunday college, God didn't want any of this. He made a ideal international and our ancestors messed it up. He tried to start up over with the flood and we knotted up lower back. Even the Israelites had it very strong and they fell from God endless cases. God needs a own relationship with you. some thing else of the international is going on its direction till eventually it receives to the end. God chooses what he will enable and not in any respect enable and it isn't our position to guage him. i needed youngsters and God allowed it and now each and every of the nightmares and issues that come alongside with it are invited in by technique of me. God will see me with the help of those trials. Heck...i did not imagine i might want to live on this lengthy and now each and every of the overdue nights, fevers, and crying are yet a blur and diminished memory. yet, on the grounds that they are 4&5 i recognize that extra "relaxing" is around the nook and yet at the same time as i'm 80 it is going to all develop right into a blur lower back and that i'll comprehend that God become there with me with the help of the pains no longer observing on the sidelines as if it were some ill sport.

No, for God does not try people with bad things.
James 1:13: " When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone."
Who tried Job?
Job 1:7 to 2:7...God allowed Satan to try Job, and Job remained faithful. He proved that man can go through many trials and still maintain their integrity to God.
Proverbs 27:11: "11 Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me."

To answer this question you ahve to understand why we are here. We are not here to have an easy time. We are here to be tested and to learn from our mistakes and trials. I have learned many things from mine. One of the biggest things is that I have learned to rely on God when things get tough. I have literally seen miracles in my life. They are events which defy all logic and science and coincidental stumbling blocks stacked on top of each other to surpass all random probability. In this case, I ignored God's help and ended up putting myself in a situation that forever changed my life, and one that I regret to this day. We just have to understand why He puts trials in our lives (through learning his plan for us) and learn to trust him.
