im just wondering if people who say or have read The Book Of Mormon... how can they not believe it? Scholars have proven that it could not have been written by one man, and the scribe took the characters frmo which it was translated, to a scholor, he looked at the characters it was translated from, he said they were real. i'm confused. how can you not feel the Spirit when you read that book? i encourage everyone to read it. please dont tell me im wrong, or ridicule me, i have enough of that to deal with. i dont understand why Mormons, Catholics and any other religion always have to be ridiculed abd persecuted by others. im sorry to have anyone go throught that.anyway, about the BOM when it was translated, the scribe said that when they stopped translating to take a break, not once, not once, did Josheph come back and ask where they were or have to stop to find his place on translating. PRAISE TO THE MAN WHO COMMUNED WITH JEHOVA, JESUS ANNOINTED THE PROPHET AND SEER.

I was wanting to attend a local church, but I see many that are non-denominational, presbyterian, pentacostal, church/assembly of god, church of christ, baptist, etc. What are the differences????

I want a church that follows the bible and believe in the lord because that is what I believe.

I'm getting so tired of this. I've struggled with porn in the past, and I'm now left wondering why? Why did I succumb to its tantalizing tactics? What good did I gain from sitting there and viewing the pictures, videos, etc.? I put it behind me not too long ago. But why, in the first place, did I ever think any good of it? I mean, it's like a drug. That first time, you really don't even want to try it, but then you do and you're hooked. You lose control of yourself. And THAT, is the problem -- losing control! You no longer are in control of your actions, but the evil desires deep within you!

Please don't say something like, "oh well, it's not in the Bible to not look at porn." I don't even want to hear it! You know, if you're anyone seeking after Christ, that in no way would Christ ever condone you sitting there and seeing such things with your eyes! But then why? Why would anyone, whether they know Christ or not, think it to be ok to watch people having sex?

Its almost like there is some sort of pleasure that this man in the sky with a long grey beard and a big white robe who throws fireballs at cities when he's angry will punish people in the afterlife because "we didn't believe".

Its like the younger brother saying . . I'm telling mommy and your going to get grounded! and then the parents come home and then the younger brother says "big brother did it" and the parents yell and scream and the little brother is sitting there laughing, "See I told you were going to be punished."

Why isn't there any empirical evidence of a God? See with my scenario of the family, there is empirical evidence of parents. With the (some not all) Christians' Lord your Vengeful God, there just isn't any.

Hypothetically, if you had a dog and it was so smart that it could literally understand everything you said. One day you dog gives birth to one puppy. You say to your loyal animal “Dog, take your puppy in your mouth by the scruff of the neck and throw it upon the fire because the final squeal of a dying puppy is pleasant to my ears and the smell of a burning puppy is pleasant to my nose."

Your dog with big tears in it’s eyes takes it’s lone puppy and heads for the fire. At the last possible second you say “Wait dog, take instead the neighbor’s cat who has used my yard as a litter box instead and throw it upon the fire”

Now my question is this, even though the look of terror on the cat’s face is priceless, don’t you think playing such a trick on your dog is kind of sick?

If adam lived 930 yrs. how many sons and daughters did he have the were directly his. Think about it. how many children can parents have if it takes 9 months for one child to be born?. And if one divides 9 into 930 one could have 96,774 children give or take. WOW! that does not include any form of sets one may have in a life time. (twins,triplets etc) now if any set were born to them they would either double or triple. So were talking about over 100,000,or more.

I've seen alot of Q&A's here about wether or not its ok to eat meat and then out of nowhere people throw in the bible and also when you look up healthy eating theres always a site that tells you to become a vegetarian because its in the bible so have these people who write these things ever read the bible instead of just little bits here and there because in the bible although a good life is eating like adam and eve, Jesus himself ate fish and ate the passover meal. So don't argue using the bible anymore because you will get it twisted because shorthandedly the bible says if your faith is weak then don't eat meat but it also says that if you are strong in faith u can eat meat just thank God for whatever you are able to eat because God will judge you on what you did not on what you ate. The big sin is that meateaters and vegetarians are throwing stones at one another lets all get along because thats one thing u can use the bible to back up adn thats that God wants us all to love. peace

Suppose all Christian men die and go to heaven-will they be whole again. Another impossible question for YOU religious types to answer. Because Jesus was circumcised the priest that did the cutting had to place this piece of Holy Toledo somewhere, When Jesus returned-WHOLE AGAIN-did the jar containing this piece of God suddenly become empty? If not, then somewhere on this planet exists a lil piece of GOD. A search might give us some Godly DNA-then we could clone him-OH NO-science has proven that all living matter consists of DNA-which means that Jesus foreskin HAS DNA-YOUR GOD COULOD BE CLONED THEREFORE PROVING once and for all that HE IS NOT GOD! Where is this copycat system at. This religion was spawned from well know truths in the historical texts throughout time concerning the prophesy of Jesus the real Christ. Was it that diffcult to have a copycat religion of that day, even today there are many copycat so called christian religions. Where is Mitras today? could it have died out because it was a false copycat? i think so.
