the battle between then was ever since they were little and its all becasue abrahams wife told him to go sleep with her servant because she didnt want to wait on God to give her and abraham a child so during childhood the brothers would vie for their fathers attention . and alot of it was due to there mothers they probably didnt want to fight they probably would have been the best of friends if their moms didn't have anything to do with it. See the servant girl Hagar who had his first child and his wife sarah who had his second each wanted their son to follow after his father but they taught them agaisnt each other so throughout their whole life they grew up disliking each other and their desendents have not yet joined together and thats the punishment for that family because sarah wouldn't wait on God

The Muslims have a good case actually.
The Jews came after 2000 years and claimed Palestine as their historic homeland. Then they followed it with terrorism to get the British (who were ruling Palestine) out and then ethnically cleansed the Arabs(Muslims) from Palestine.

The Muslims are now replying with their own terrorism, but it is too late too little.

Religion is just one mechanism to divide the world in to US and THEM. We use it to define who we are, and what we believe. This is reinforced by scripture that of course has to justify the diversity. Through allegorical teaching acolytes are convinced WE are right THEY are wrong. Natural antipathy follows.

Now throw in some really ugly history that divides geographical areas (nationalism is another mechanism) such as the "holy land" on a sectarian basis, and you get a re-enforced US and THEM effect. Let this fester for decades, you get hate.

The Abrahamic religions have lots in common, and as such it is the points of distinction that have traditionally been emphasised. Families don't always get on well.

Good old religious intolerance is certainly not new.
I still bear a grudge for the sacking of the temples of Triglav.

I don't think it's anything to do with religion. They both believe that Jesus existed but was a prophet. Hatred? Muslims seem to hate all infidels, ie anyone is not muslim.Fanatical muslims do not seem to have progressed beyond the time of Mohammed so it is very difficult to argue with them whereas Jews have adapted to modern times and have been forerunners in the world of music and arts

Abraham had to sons, isaac and ishmail

issac settled on the west side of the jordan river and became the jewish race.

ismail settled on the east side, and gave the world the arab race.

for generations the jews and the arabs fought over the land of Israel.

later the Arabs converted to Islam and then it became a religious war.

that hatred has never died down, and odds are it wont for some time.
