I have noticed a lot of bashers to those who use cannibis. Those who are pretending to be so righteous tend to ignore their own use of: Chocolate(caffiene and other groovy stuff), coffee, tea, food, cold medicines, alcohol, envy, hatred, pride, arrogance..... If a person does anything to take their minds off of problems of life; that is self medicating and even animals in nature do it.
It is easy to pick apart others' habits without thinking of ones' own.

IMHO

I have a bit of a delema and I hope someone can help. I know that we are comanded to go out and tell others about Jesus. What do we do whoever when they deny him? Do we keep trying even when they mock us? Or do we move on to someone else and give up? Or does this just apply to those who have NEVER heard about Jesus? Are these the ones that we are comanded to reach? Please help!

I firmly don't believe anybody is a true atheist. They may choose to reject the truth (that Jesus is the way), but who made who. If we came from monkeys then why are there still monkeys?

or do you go further and educate yourself with the Hebrew meaning of the word b/c I know the terms sometimes have different meanings to todays definition....also what are some good links and books for one who wants to further there education so that that can get a better understanding of God's word...b/c I refuse to believe that it should just stop at reading the Bible and listening to a preacher on Sunday

WHY don't you jehova witness parassites don't voluntarily join jehova in his king or queen-doom, such as commit sewercide just as good cult or sectarian members would do, so that you can stay away permanetly from my house.????

why? Because that's the source of religion narrow ethnic confabulations.
A Universal God would have overwhelmed the world with a powerful message disseminated in ONE SHOT, SIMULTANEOUSLY TO ALL ETHNIC GROUP AND CORNERS OF THE EARTH. That's just common sense how a divinely inspired message would be delivered

I ask this because I got a response some time ago (by a Muslim) indicating it exists, but he was not about to go into explaining it because it had nothing to do with my question. (My question wasn't about any type of jihad at all).

Very curious because I've never heard the term used before or since.

Somewhere around Mathew 22:31-46 as there are no specific verses in this copy, page 66 for those with the message.

One of their religious scholars (pharisees) spoke for them, posing a question they hoped would show him up: "Teacher, which command in God's Law is the most important?"

Jesus said " 'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' This is the most important, the first in any list. But there is a second to set alonside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' These two commands are pegs; everything in Gods Law and the prophets hangs from them"
and to love you neighbour.

If somone follows these teachings above all others had accepted Jesus into their hearts as Lord and saviour prayed and attended church reguarly and read their bible but did not agree with you on points such as homosexuality and abortion would you still consider them christian? Do you believe that they would burn in hell?

Typical Christian's fear based comments

1. "What if you're wrong? You're going to hell"

2. "If I believe and i'm wrong, I have nothing to lose but If I dont believe and I'm wrong, I'm screwed.

3. "on judgement day, you'll regret every word"

4. "How could you live thinking there's no after life? That's terrible"

Typical Christian's Ignorance based comments

1."Where did the first organism come from? Who started that?"

Note: Notice they violate their own argument by saying God didn't have to come from anywhere. That's a flat out contradiction

2. "My experiences are proof that God exist"

Note: Their experiences are simply things they didn't understand so they passed them off as miracles from god. That's ignorance

3. "If you believe, God will show himself"

Note: If you believe first, you become bias towards any other possibilities and you'll pass anything off as a message from God

Christianity takes issue with many morality issue.

Why do you take up for people who have sex with the same gender? Their issue is not an issue at all.....it has to be the least important issue on the radar.

Why do you care so much about someone "preaching hate" against gays? When Gays have never had it better in society, especially America, they are overrepresented on TV, they are the richest and most successful catagory of 'oppressed' people that ever were as a general group.

Have you been so programmed to believe gays are so important that you are more sensitive to something which sounds "homophobic" than you are to what Christians have to say about YOU, most probably, the fornicator? You do know they damn you as well, right?
Don't let political correctness cloud your judgement. ....the gay "issue" is mostly contrived, and it's not surprising to anyone a certain catagory is unaccepting to their lifestyle.
God for bid. Maybe gays need to grow up.

As far as how reality is determined or controlled, please state your belief and explain why you have this belief. Give support and rationale that could be easily understood by anyone, regardless of culture, time, and origin. Pretend that you could use the same answer with an aztec, sumerian, mayan, cherokee indian, greek philosopher, hindu, muslim, christian, atheist, agnostic, or any other type of person. The reason behind this is that we don't determine where and when we will be born. And if we have a strong belief in something, then it should be able to stand up no matter when and where we were born. Please explain in fewer than 8 sentences.

- You might believe a deity controls reality - explain why
- You might believe that nothing controls reality - explain why
- You might believe any number of things - explain why
