I tried riding a horse and my balls got squished with all the jumping up and down :(

No I never tried to ride a camel. I have heard that it's the same as riding on a rocking-chair or something to that effect. A camel is a natural born pacer. Both legs move in the same direction at all times. When the right foreleg moves forwards so does its back leg.

I've never ridden a camel, an elephant once. Horses are easy to ride without injuring yourself. It's all in how you use your legs in the stirrups. It's the BEST "Butt" exercises you'll ever find while having fun. If you just sit in the saddle you'll hurt in more than one place. The bouncing alone does damage.

You can ride a camel at certain Renaissance Festivals/Faires. Usually runs around $1-$2 per ride, per person. I assure you they're quite boring, though, as you only go around in a circle run a couple of times, and there's not much jostling.

i did but it was not bareback, it had a seat attatched to it and the fun part was when it stood up and i was sure that i was going to fall off
