My point is that no matter what is in there, you will be fine with. No matter what atrocity I come up with, you would think it was justified. What if the OT said that god burned 100 babies alive because they had blue eyes? Would you rationalize it or think god was evil?

Yes, I know it's not in there. Yes, I know you'll say he wouldn't do that, but he's done far worse already. He drowned all the babies in the world in the flood. Real answers please.

Some interesting facts to know next time they come knocking on your door.

Christians: know that they don't believe you are a true Christian next time they talk to you. Call them out on it!

Also did you know that the group has only dates back to 1879. They were founded by Charles Taze Russell, a Pennsylvania businessman. Russell's Adventist background and study of the Bible led him to conclude, among other things, that the second coming of Christ would occur in 1914, that Hellfire did not exist, and God was not a Trinity.

I noticed that people from countryside speak more often , about God , or the devil , some even dayly, while people from cities , hardly do it , with some exceptions..Maybe we can find an answer together...One of my own answers is that people from cities are very busy and upset with their work and family ...a lot of other activities are on ...they must take care not to commit accidents , and not to be hit by cars...they are in discussions with thier boss , and they work to much ..they should also rest...because we are not machines...And so and so , they are exhausted and they forget to thank to God ,or course the devil .for the bad things that happen to them .So and so , people from cities become proud and they think about God only when they are in big trouble that they cannot solve by themselves , and realise that they need help from God , because a poor human being cannot help them....What do you think..?

OK, I know there are many Christians who believe in Creationism. But, whenever someone brings up Evolution, they are alyaws called an Athiest.

Now, I am a pretty strong Catholic, and I don't see where in the bible it says humans did not evolve. When Genesis states that God created man in His own image, couldn't that mean He created him from another animal?

When the bible says He formed Adam from the dirt, couldn't that mean He used His hands to guide evolution to produce such a great creature as Man?

Also, when it mentions God creating all the animals, it does so in the order in which they would have evolved, if that was the case. He created the sea creatures, then the creatures on the ground, and then Man.

Just because I trust science and the evidence put before me doesn't make me any less of a Catholic.

wouldn't he have seen in advance how organised religion would hijack his teachings and use it for brutal mass manipulation and destruction (think crusades, inquisition et al)?

I mean, he IS supposed to be omniscient? Why didn't he prevent this? (and don't give me that free will crap, no sane parent lets his children run amok and kill and plunder in order to preserve their 'free will')

I have met many christians who call themselves born again christians. When I found out their background, most of them were, drug addicts, drunkards, loose charactered men and women and there is always someone who has helped them to become this so called born again. Is born again like you were a christian, sinned a lot and asked forgiveness and became a holy joe. Dont you find something wrong in it?

I think its silly, i have my own personal beliefs, and when i ask questions, people quote the bible, for example, i asked once "Are we really superior to animals, perhaps we offend god", and people just quoted the bible. I mean we shouldn't be so specific about it, believe in what you want.

At age sixteen I was diagnosed with atheism.

Question: Have you or has anyone you know been diagnosed with atheism?

In our small town, a town of church people, our high-school library received a great influx of books from the estate of Dr. So-and-so or whatever.

They didn't screen their new books.

I found what I thought was a treasure trove of books. On geology, natural history, biology, genetics, astronomy, history, you name it.

In a few short months I was diagnosed with atheism.

After high school I went on to university, and my condition only worsened.

Question: Are you or any one you know that might be at risk?
I strongly tell you: shun science books, run from science classes, say no to science careers. There is no cure for me; but maybe you or a loved one can avoid my fate...

It's like when you talk to a four year old. You put ourself in his/her frame in order to communicate. You have to because they are unable to enter your frame.

I know that for sure!! The bible explains that many will believe, but they will be decapitated because of Jesus Christ!! or give your life..In that time many people from any "Religion" will believe God!! I don't know who's in the list but it will happen, you could be in the list !!!!if you're atheist or non-believers please have this in mind!!

but the sad part of the story is that some people will see All the things Jesus spoke coming to reality near soon but the bible says that there will be People that will cursed God, and also will speak blasphemies about Him, because of their hard Heart, They will not believe God, and that will be sad - I HOPE YOU'RE NOT ON THAT LIST"

I know many people will say I'm Crazy - but You'll see that everything that is written in the bible will become a reality for this world!!

Atheist, non-believers, and all who claim to have their own Religion you will have opportunities to repent I hope you get to know God.
