Hi there. I lost my best friend, companion, FAMILIAR of 15 years to ailing health just on December 27th. I have a question relating to WHITE magick rituals as I am a solitaire pagan practitioner who REALLY wants suggestions for spells to help him: a) SHOW (a MUST-I NEED THIS!) himself to me and let me know he is SAFE and not angry with the horrible decision I had to make relating to his suffering of his ailing health (broke my heart and having HARD time coping! I have a friend, that is saved and baptised, who tells me he lost his faith in God, he has no money, payroll is garnished, grandmomma passed on, girlfriend dumped him after he bought her a new ride, I mean, he can name it all, worse than a country song of the things hes lost. I tried so hard to share with him what I have expericience with Jesus in my life, its all good, whether I have a penny or not. BUT this dude loves to be miserable, I need to know what to say, scripture as of yet isnt helping

the argument of "there HAS to be a "Creator" because the universe and everything in it is too complex and perfect" IS COMPLETELY ABSURD AND WRONG.

how can you say it's complex and perfect?? opposed to what? compared to what?? it's the only thing YOU KNOW, so how can you COMPARE IT TO SOMETHING "LESS PERFECT"???

You know the story when the rich man came up to Jesus and asked what he must do to enter eternal life? Did Jesus say "you know you have a God shaped hole in your heart and only I can fill it for you?" Or did he say "Go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, then come back, pick up your cross and follow me."

So if it is the latter, why is the modern church still preaching a God shaped hole evangelistic method? Don't you realize that you must die to yourself to become alive in Christ. The first commandment was violated by the rich man. He loved his money more than God and Jesus proved it when the rich man went away sorrowful. "you shall have no other gods before me" (including money). Do you agree or disagree?

I am a well practiced Muslim, I am peaceful, I live in the western world and I respect British law and interact peacefully with the people around me - just as my religion orders me to. I have never had a fight, and I am totally in love with my wife whom I treat like a princess - Just as my religion tells me to. I regularly discuss religion with Jewish and Christian friends, who are always surprised at how close Islam is to their religion (especially jews). With all that in mind, how is it possible that Islam has such a bad name? How can it be that people don't just dislike islam, they think it to be evil? How is that possible, when nothing within the Religion of Islam show's it as evil? 10 points for an open honest answer without swearing or nastiness please.

Mark 4 pretty much states that Jesus would speak in parables in order to confuse people so they would end up in hell. Seems as though if he so wanted to save people he wouldn't have used confusing jargon to spread his teachings. In any situation a normal person does not give advice that could have hundreds of possible meanings if they are really wanting to help For example lets say your riding in a car & the driver is not paying attention & is heading straight for a tree Which would be more effective in order to save everyone in the car would you say HEY YOUR ABOUT TO HIT A TREE!!!!! or something completely ridiculous like The path you have so blindly chosen is full of many great obstacles some of which can cause great pain should you collide with one so deeply rooted in the earth. Seems to me as though Jesus didn't really want to save everyone, not much of a savior in my opinion What sayeth you oh Y/A Jesus lovers

Paul wrote two letters to Timothy and they were chosen to be included in the Bible.

It is not fair to assume that every single word that Paul wrote is the infalliable word of God so how do we know that these letters are to be considered as such?

Consider this quote: "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have created them."
At the time he said that, he could not foresee that he was going to send Jesus to redeem mankind?
Could it be that God cannot see the future, and could it be that God sometimes feels regretful and confused?

What about the the time he considered smiting the Earth with a curse (during the time of the prophet Malachi)?

Did he later come up with the idea of sending Jesus? And then shelved the idea of cursing the Earth?

My daughter is going to be starting school next year and I am just wondering, what's better? Private school or Public school? The tradition with this family is that the children go to a religious private school that teaches tolerance, teaches them of their faith, and teaches them of other faiths. The school that we've used has a very good security system and nobody but parents or named individuals is even allowed on the property. The children each have an assigned number, and when school is out they remain indoors until a parent says their number. The teachers also look at the child's face to see if they recognize the person and have a good reaction. If strangers are found on the property, or even if you're a relative and they dont know you, security is on you faster than metal to a magnet. But Public school also exposes the children to all faiths and all ethnicities. So I'm debating with myself on this one becuase I have to enroll her soon. What is your opinion?

Last night I dreamed that I was in some desert area, I wanna say California, and Jesus was there with me and bout 10-15 other people. It looked like we were at some facility with wire fences all around. We all had on these long white robes as well as Jesus. He had long brown hair and he was talking to us preparing us to go into the sky to go to Heaven. We were all very much alive and I thought it was strange for us to be going to Heaven alive in the flesh.

Does anyone have a clue what this means?
