Any ideas anyone?? Are there any good websites regarding the whole "Jesus/Mary Magdalene were married, had children etc" theory? I have read the book and am intrigued by the whole subject - so any more info would be great!

There is scriptural evidence that Jesus rose himself from the dead, that the Spirit rose Jesus, but what about the Father? There are places where it says (paraphrasing) God rose Jesus, or the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob rose Jesus (or him) from the dead. God could substitute for the Holy Spirit, or maybe strangely enough, Jesus Himself. Someone please give me some bible verses showing that the Father rose Jesus from the dead. I ask that you wouldn't simply put that the Trinity worked together, and boom his bodily resurrection took place, without biblical support. Please don't answer my question for points, please do this for further understanding of God and His Word. Thank you my friends. Please visit this amazing site carm.org.

...on the water, by the water, around the water, through the water, from the water, at the water or what. Prepositions were always added by the most recent translator and were usually what the translator wanted you to think. Plus all translators were always being watched and censored by the Roman centurian guards.

Since there is a large gap in the life of Christ from when he was a boy until he started his ministry. Many have tried to conclude that Jesus studied Buddism or Hinduism or some Eastern Religion and made it the basis of Christianity.

Now aside from certain moral principles that exist in both Christianity and Eastern Religions, I want PROOF of this claim.

Go ahead. PROVE it to me. That means PROVE that Jesus was in the far east.

I want to know if something supranatural has happened to you or to some close people of you, which you are sure is now lying...

If yes, tell us!

When I was a child (today I'm 24 young man), I saw some things falling down aroung my mom, which is very religious (she belongs to a church called Assembléia de Deus, here in Brazil). That was weird!

The things were like water in a gold color.

How about you?

Tnx!

Christians,

Am I correct in saying that you have to believe in God and Jesus to go to heaven? What about the MAJORITY of the Earth that does not believe in them? What is going to happen to them?

Does this mean there is some higher power? It seems a coincidence that so many groups of people removed be space and time have come to the conclusion that there is a God or Gods, or at least a higher power if there wasn't. When I say out loud "there is no God" I feel a little wrong for doing so. Now this may be mostly because I was raised in North America, and it goes against the norm not to believe in God, and believe me when I say I don't believe in any books version of God, but it feels wrong. As I've said before I think thta God is the sum of everything, past, present and future, but yet isn't a seperate entity that can intervene, or judge us. This would make sense why we have disease, and wars.

I think that the most sound evidence of a God is that most people throughout history, despite learnings, have felt there was a God.

The old testament is full of violents acts by your God, too many to list here. Jesus supports it all in Matt 5:17 why would you worship such a violent god?

It seems to me that when the animal rights activists protest there's not much logic to their view points, with the exception of say baby cows as I disagree with the way they are farmed but my question concerns more of medical research in particular research that involves curing disease and illness. And I guess the sub question to this would be of course why not embryonic research? Again I ask for logical answers not ones with religious bias or perspective because that arguement is based on beliefs rather than facts. Thank you for your time an answers in advance.

the bible knows things that science didn't know till over a 1,000 years later. like that every star was different

1 Corinthians 15:41
There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.
All stars look alike to the naked eye.* Even when seen through a telescope, they seem to be just points of light. However, analysis of their light spectra reveals that each is unique and different from all others. (*Note: We understand that people can perceive some slight difference in color and apparent brightness when looking at stars with the naked eye, but we would not expect a person living in the first century A.D. to claim they differ from one another.)

The Bible describes the suspension of the Earth in space.

Job 26:7
He stretches out the north over empty space;
He hangs the earth on nothing.

Job 28:25
To establish a weight for the wind,
And apportion the waters by measure.
The fact that air has weight was pr oven scientifically only about 300 years ago. The relative weights of air and water are needed for the efficient functioning of the world’s hydrologic cycle, which in turn sustains life on the earth

I've been a Druid for a few years, and I've been getting more and more interested in becoming a member of the clergy. Is there a certain school one needs to go to in order to become a legally ordained priest of their chosen faith? Is there any specific studying I should do? Input from any Pagan Clergy members will be greatly appreciated, but all answers will be welcome. Thanks!
