Do you believe in life after death? Why or why not?

In your opinion, what do you think happens to our souls or spirits when we pass?

I don't think there is any one right, or best, answer. No one who is alive can say for sure what will happen. There are some very deep, thought-out answers you all have given though. I can't choose just one. This is going to voting. =) Thanks all for sharing!

Yes I believe. First the judgment then eternal Life or Death. I've heard and read many stories of people who have come back from the dead and experienced either heaven or hell. And I believe the Bible and what it says is true, that the entrance requirement for heaven is having your name in the Lamb's book of Life which happens when you repent and ask Jesus into your heart.

Right now we are dead, most of us don't know how to live. The first time RIP was put on a grave, it was placed there by the one that passed on to the other side. Telling us here in the "living to rest in peace" as we sleep without remembrance of home.

I personally believe in life after death because as a child I remembered a better place, or a better state of mind, (if you will) than what I feel here on earth.

Soul and Spirit are two different energies. Spirit is infinite, and Souls have to climb the ladder to become infinite. You at your core are Spirit, (God, "I and my father are one") that has created a Soul, (Higher Self- Holy Spirit, even the bible says that the HS was created) as a learning tool to experience and learn. But the soul itself is not eternal until we have done what Jesus or Buddha did. When you accomplish that you are then a creator, because your creation, your soul becomes an infinite addition to the energy called God.

I believe we are eventually re-incarnated despite what religion we are or what we are taught. Before we come back, we sign and seal a contract on who we are going to be and what we are going to do. We do not remember this consciously of course as it would be too much of a shock for most. I have done this many times but found out in a special way. I do know that this is my final time though, so I'd better make it good.

You mean what happens when you die? You stop. You as a thinking, living, conscious being are through. You no longer exist. You're just flesh and your flesh will rot and be consumed by bacteria and other creatures.

There is no evidence that there is any life after death. There is also no evidence for the existence of a soul or spirit. I'd have to say that once we die we are just like we were before we were born, whatever that is.

I believe in death after life. We have soles on our shoes, but no souls hiding inside our bodies, and humans pass gas, not spirits.

I believe that the Bible is true. I believe that Jesus is the way. I have accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. I believe that He will wake me up after I die if He does not come back before I die, in that case He will take me to the heaven without dieing.

I believe that He conquered the death so I do not have to be afraid. I am going to be with God in heaven... forever.

Only the Holy ones have that gift of eternal life after death to ressurection. if you worship the number 666 and the image of the man called 666,, then your the ones really going hell. try hard to escape cause God the Holy Ghost will not take pity on whom hell is concerned about. trey worship the 666 and say that during computer time.
