I am sure they have lusted and stolen and commited adultry and lied and taken gods name in vain. You know pretty much all of the commandments have been broken by them but they are going to be saved so its all good. Hipocrates.

DON'T TAKE IT LITERALLY said one answerer that really p***** me off, change the bible to suit yourself maybe Jesus was just a literal thing too???? but somehow you seem to know what is literal and what isn't, how very handy

This is just a metaphore, and you don't have to take it literally. It is just a way to encourage decency and discourage adultery.
