I have a friend, that is saved and baptised, who tells me he lost his faith in God, he has no money, payroll is garnished, grandmomma passed on, girlfriend dumped him after he bought her a new ride, I mean, he can name it all, worse than a country song of the things hes lost. I tried so hard to share with him what I have expericience with Jesus in my life, its all good, whether I have a penny or not. BUT this dude loves to be miserable, I need to know what to say, scripture as of yet isnt helping

HIs loss of faith is mis-placed.
Sounds like the lack of taking control of his personal life has caused the calamity upon himself.
It is not God's fault when a person behaves irresponsibly.
This person needs to be a man!

Why interfere? He'll come around once He figures things out and eventually be happy, or He'll stick with agnosticism/atheism and eventually be happy. Any interference will probably drive him further away from the idea of God, it's human nature and I know, I've done that.

Ultimately, if you are his friend, his happiness should be of utmost importance, not whether or not he still has faith in God/Jesus. He'll find his way.

You just got to continue to remind him what god has done for him. Get him to think of all the good things that have happened in his life. (he must have something good that has happened in his life) Tell him God made all those things happen. God is either trying to test his faith in some way or Satan in trying to destroy his faith. Either way, he needs to keep his faith in god if he wants to go in heaven.

Good luck and God bless you!

Tell him that he hasn't lost his faith, that he has just stopped believing God is in control. If God chooses him to be where he is now, he should ask what is God trying to teach me instead of why isn't God doing things the way I think He should? God doesn't do things for us just because we want them. He does things to teach us to grow closer to Him and God is in control.

Tell him that if he has lost the faith completely, he is giving into fear. he is scared to face the reality. God also credits the faith as equal as a murstard seed.

Read to him, or summarize, the life of Jesus and the Apostles.
They were falsly accused, arrested, beaten, imprisoned, tortured, and killed for their faith. Friends and family left them, or even tried to have them killed. They were betrayed. They were mocked. And...they were pennyless for a good portion of their lives.

And yet, they believed.

Tell him that, my brother in Christ. Amen.

I think he is attracted to drama in his lifestyle-that has nothing to do with scriptures

He has finally found his way out of the religious quagmire. Leave him alone, he's finally on the right path. Do yourself a favor, follow in his footsteps.

Maybe he will be better off focusing on bettering himself and his life situation without believing in the same fantasy that you do.
