Don't you ever get tired of asking the same stupid questions over and over again? You're not allowing honest people to ask honest questions when you monopolize the board this way.

People REALLY need to start ignoring the trolls here.

I am not a troll. I've been on Y!A for a while, and although some questions REALLY annoy me, and it shows in my answers, I don't go out of my way to ask stupid questions. Since June of last year, I have asked only 32 questions, and they were decent questions. That is not the same as posting a question intended only to incite anger. There are trolls of all religious and non-religious persuasions here, but atheists are singled out because they are the most reviled members of American society. In a study asking people "would you hire someone who is a...", atheists came in last. People would rather hire ANYONE other than an atheist. Why did atheists leap to your mind when you ask your question? Perhaps because we don't sugarcoat things, we don't back down, and we are pretty secure in our knowledge. If you can't shake it, you accuse them of being disruptive or "dishonest".

On trolls: Nobody is "monopolizing the board". A troll, by posting questions, does not prevent "honest people" from asking questions. It as not as though a troll posts a questions and the Yamster goes, "Whoops, better cut an honest person's question now."

I submit that the trolls do, in fact, get tired of asking the same questions over and over, which is why they stop when they are tired of it and start again when they want to start again. One of the things that keeps them coming back is the responses they receive. If nobody answered, there would not be as much point in asking, so it is possible that you are correct in your statment that they should be ignored. Not all are posting to get responses, though. For some, just the fact that the question will be viewed is enough, and the responses are not even checked.

i take advantage of to be a christian and now, as an atheist, I comprehend the place the sadness comes from. while non secular people ask questions that make no experience, we gained't help yet ask your self in the event that they seem to be a troll or purely ignorant. i'm no longer attempting to offend with that factor era, yet in this area of the fence, that's the superb thank you to describe what evidently prefer to us. AND, i comprehend what atheist comments look prefer to the creationists, evidently like arrogance. So yea, that is complicated for atheists to talk uniformly with creationists, with the aid of fact, like it or no longer, there is that informational wall seperating them. you purely could roll with the punches.

You're being unfairly one-dimensional.

Almost every honest question I've seen asked by those who are not Christian has some Christian fundamentalist spouting "Jesus will save your soul from hell" rhetoric. It seems it's ok in the eyes of the Christian to shove religion down our throats in every post until we choke on it in the name of missionary work, but it's not ok for anyone else?

Might want to watch your own sheep in the field, before accusing your neighbor of letting his run wild.

The same thing can be said of Christians who enter into honest questions posted by other religions, or by Atheists and say things like "You need to find god".

Honestly, if you're going to make blanket statement, realize they apply to YOU TOO.

The trolls troll and the atheists ask valid questions-perhaps you want to avoid their difficult questions by labelling them trolls? Your Ad hominem crap fools no one.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

I prefer to answer questions rather than ask them.

What about the Christians who make up lies about evolution and repeatedly copy and paste these lies and post them in EVERY answer?
