the argument of "there HAS to be a "Creator" because the universe and everything in it is too complex and perfect" IS COMPLETELY ABSURD AND WRONG.

how can you say it's complex and perfect?? opposed to what? compared to what?? it's the only thing YOU KNOW, so how can you COMPARE IT TO SOMETHING "LESS PERFECT"???

Christians, are you this delusional??

natesgirl:

how is an element complex and/or mathematically sound?? it's just saying a muffin is complex and/or mathematically sound (by stating it's shape, contents, size, color...just like elements)

and your other points are horrible. you're comparing two houses, cars, drugs...but my point is....the universe. that's it. there's only one we know of. so YOU CAN COMPARE TO IT ANYTHING ELSE. IT'S ALL WE KNOW.

DUH???

yeah it's more comforting that an imaginary, made-up thing created and controls the universe???

We could compare it to everything man-made.

The foundation of your house shifts. Your car doesn't last longer than 5-10 with normal usage.

Prescription drugs are approved by the FDA. They kill people, then are removed.

In comparison to these less perfect things, I would say the universe is fairly complex.

As a side point, look at the elements in the periodic table. Very complex and mathematically sound. How can it be random, or without a creator?

Edit:

I was referring to how they come together to make the periodic table. Are you not one of those science buffs? Look up the periodic tables. VERY complex and mathematically sound.

And furthermore, it's nice to know you follow the blonde girl rule:

"Any statement followed by duh?!?!?! becomes a statement of fact!"

you placed large save via the basis that "area", no count if "outer" or that "between atoms" has "constantly been", as a result does not have a initiating. the way I comprehend it, the two techniques "time" and "area" the two got here into being with the beginning of the Universe. otherwise, how might desire to the questions be spoke back 'Does the Universe have a boundary? If it does, what's on the different area?' the respond is that the Universe creates area because it expands. it extremely is increasing into finished "nothingness" - a thought that's impossible for us to appreciate, being inhabitants of that Universe-created area. "area" replaced into created, only as mass replaced into. the only distinction is, area remains being created, by way of fact the Universe expands. As for the "God" bit, there are fairly a huge decision cosmological theories floating around to describe the place the subject interior the "enormous Band" got here from that don't remember on the existence of a "God" parent.

I think the universe is weird, non-understandable and hostile to human style life. Yet we are here in this perfect little vessel called earth. I think the question of whether there is a creator or not is still unresolved so anyone who says no to a creator is not being open minded.

I'm sure it's more comforting to believe that everything in the universe has happened at random.

The universe *is* perfect. Perfection means different things to different people. If it is part of the plan and events follow accordingly, then can be deemed perfect. God knew what he was doing.

Footnote: I am not a Christian.

I expect you will get some blood boiling with this one. Plus a lot of "nice" comments from Christians. I thought they weren't supposed to judge people....
