Have you ever stopped believing in God? I've been through some real challenges lately and I've lost all faith. Has this ever happened to anybody else?

Then why is it that whenever particular subjects are brought up the government allows Christian and Religious advocates to persuad their decisions? I dont care what religion you are up there in the political world, but I thought we had a clear seperation of church and state? Leave your personal life at the door.

I HATE snakes, i cant look at them at all, i am also terrefied of fireworks and sparkelers, i always look @ the clock at 9:11 freaky, what does it mean? Have you ever had a past life experience?

From Galatians 4 "Be happy, you childless woman! Shout and cry with joy, you who have never felt the pains of childbirth! For the woman who was deserted will have more children than the woman whose husband never left her."

How Can I Do It? Religion Makes Fools Out of "Some" so wouldn’t it be for the best of mankind, to wipe all religions off the face of the planet. I mean, have you seen some of the things done in the name of religion?

Wouldn’t it be better to accept you fate, and realize, that your life is truly meaningless. You’re one person out of billions. Noting you do if really ever going to make a difference, unless, you do something truly terrible or horrific or truly good. And the vast majority of us will do neither. Will live our little lives and then die off, mostly to not be remembered at all.

Can You Share Your Opinions Please?

Why do christians assume that if you belittle and degrade non christians, help people only when you feel like it, harm others and then repent (pretend it didnt happen and dismiss it from your mind) that they will actually go to heaven? Its no wonder people are deconverting by the thousands, christians treat other people like trash, then expect to be respected for it.

attack a persons beliefs without attacking the person?

I've seen it said on here many times that it's acceptable to attack someones religious beliefs, or lack there of, but not the individual.
How is that possible?

I just recently moved along with my spouse over 2000 miles for home. The job I had lined up did not work out and I feel badly about it I left on very good terms and will get a postive reference, but I feel badly about it I was driving 3-4 hours commuting back and forth to the city. I have a full blown sinus infection, I have gotten lost so many times in this area, I miss my family and friends and I dont feel comfortable like I did where I used to live. I feel so badly about this because God has blessed me with so much and he always provides, Getting acclimated has been very hard and I feel like a failure because I could not handle the job and it was not a "good fit" How can I get my joy back and does the adjustment process get better with time and prayer? I just feel badly that I feel this way when God has always been faithful. How have you handled moving and what were you able to do to cope and adjust?

so lets say god knows everything that is going to happen. that means that the future is set right? because if it isnt set then god cannot know the future. if the future were to change god would already have forseen this change and concluding this wouldnt be a change.

now with that in mind, the future is already written. our choices "change" the future. but since the future cannot be changed, then our "choices" are just nothing more then illusion.

if we really had free will and "choices" we would be able to keep revelation from happening, and thus proving god wrong...

so tell me what you think of free will and our ability to choose. this is a serious question wanting serious and respectful responses. i dont want copy pasted verses i want your in depth thought.

Maize (Corn) is a cereal grain that was domesticated in Mesoamerica and then spread throughout the American continents. It spread to the rest of the world after European contact with the Americas in the late 15th century and early 16th.
The Bible says: In Mark 002:023 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. This took place under the time of the Roman emperior Tiberius 14-37 A.D..

If you learned today that, if you had been aborted as a fetus, your pre-life/early life material would have been responsible through Stem Cell Research for saving millions of lives, improving millions of lives, curing cancer, repairing spinal cord damage, reversing Alzheimer's, or helping massive burn victims ... And if you could go back in time, would you CHOOSE to be aborted and used for that purpose? (You would be the only one...no other fetus would ever need to be used for this purpose)

(firstly, allow me to apologize if the initial question seems insluting, it is not meant to be.)

Earlier on a question of FAITH, I saw a Christian respond that they KNOW God is real and that he created everything in the universe.

Does not KNOWING this as a fact negate FAITH??
I thought you had FAITH that God is real and created all and answers prayers, etc... So, are you fooling yourselves by claiming that you KNOW this, or are you attempting to fool others with these statements??

Supposedly the great answer to every question that is asked about God as he pertains to the rest of the world is "God allows us free will" The opportunity to decide things for ourselves. So why do christians insist on throwing in their religious beliefs about gay rights? or abortion? or prayer in school? I mean honestly, if God is about free will and the right for an individual to CHOOSE his lifestyle, why is that the one character about God that christians cant strive to be more like?

I firmly beleive that living together before you're married is immoral and a stupid thing to do but I'm really not sure why. I suppose it's just because that's what I've been taught all my life. I'm looking for some solid reasons why that I can use when talking with friends/family who aren't necessarily very religious. Any non-religious reasons that anyone can give me as to why living together before you're married is a bad move?? Thanks in advance.
