No, I don't believe anyone can be what they want to be.Ok,if I wanted to be a neurosurgeon(see, can't even spell it)I couldn't..Man, I thought I could cure people, yes, the research, the training, the long, long days of education would make me be the person who would be what I wanted to be.
But, know something? I just don't have the brains ,the drive to do that. As much as I wanted it, it just was'nt going to happen. We all have aspirations. We all have special talents,so we go with the flow.
Okay, let's suppose you want to be a commercial pilot,oh and that's all you want to be.You get into a training and you find out you are slightly colorblind Or you are not psychologically equipped.
No, we can't be anything we want to be.
Oh,by the way; that was an example. I never wanted to be a brain surgeon.I learned as a teen, I,yes as a teen, that I just would never hold a scaple.Maybe that's why they(teens) are so insuferable. They are actually beginning to see themselves.

No. Ever see the movie called "The Matrix"? Real life is like that movie. There are two opposing secret, mostly unseen, sides in the universe. There is the good side and the evil side. The only choice you really have is to align yourself with the Higher Power of Good or to align yourself with the Higher Power of Evil. If you go with the Power of Good, then your mission in life will be to become and do what the the Higher Power of Good wants you to be and do. If you go with the Higher Power of Evil, then your mission in life will be to become and do what the Higher Power of Evil wants you to be and do. This is what will happen, even if you are not consciously aware of it. So, you do have a choice, but that choice is really limited to which side you will join and remain loyal to. To directly answer your question, you really cannot "be anything u want to be if u put your mind to" it, because there are these Higher Powers in the universe that are really much bigger and powerful than you or I or any of us little human beings.

Within reason yes. I can't really put my mind to it and transform into an eagle but I can work really hard to become the best person I can be and have whatever job I want. You only restrict yourself by deciding which is more important, your goal or the things that stand in your way. Those things can be family, friends, miles and miles of ocean... It's all a choice.

Shelby, not only that but you can create your reality by using the proper methods.

All this is covered by the law of attraction, the law of attraction is the law which governs everything on the universe, and in short tells that everything that is now in your life, your reality, is made by the thoughts you had in the past.

the law of attraction explains that the way to achieve the reality that you desire, you need to stop manifesting unconsciously and start manifesting consciously.

in order to do that there are a couple of exercises that you must follow and they are very simple.

some people think that by making affirmations and changing your beliefs. this of course is more complicated than the way it is explained here.
I would suggest visiting a website in order to learn the true and best way to make your reality what you want it to be. (to get the website message me and I will send you the link).

You should also watch the movie "the secret" and "what the bleep do you know" to learn more about the subject. but definitively stick to learning what is on the site bellow.

If you want to know more you are also welcome to visit my personal site which deals with the subject

No, of course not.
It's a great "anything is possible" motivator, but it's really absurd.

If I put my mind to say... being the president by tomorrow night, do you think I can "will" it to happen?

The word "anything" means ANYTHING, not just some things.
If you had asked "some things", then my answer would be yes.

No. I am a realist. I do not have 20/20 vision and I don't handle G-forces well; therefore, I cannot be a fighter jet pilot.
I am 38 years old and I hate to run, and I don't want to be shot. I cannot be a police officer.
I am short and middle-aged. I cannot be an NBA basketball player.
I was disabled in a car accident. I could no longer be a dancer.

We have limitations.

I almost beleive this....I know that even if I put my mind to it I probably would not be able to become a singer or a famous actor....because I am not good at those skills. But I beleive that if I REALLY put my mind to it I can sell my house and move across country with my boyfriend and live a life happily ever after....well I sure hope so anyways...

In the past I never believed that but now that I am older and wiser I do believe that anything is possible. You have to stay positive and go for what you want and if you are extremely passionate about it don't give up until you get what you want.

You cannot be an eagle no matter how greatly you put your mind to it. But can call an eagle to come to you should you put your mind in knowing how to.
