"Either life was created by god or it happened by accident."
Usually followed by
"I like to believe I'm not an accident, therefore god exists."
It's not that simple, why do people reduce these things to such an absurd level? Why is life an accident if god doesn't exist? Life could be an accident that god had... ever think of it that way? If he does exist maybe he was going for something completely different but ended up with us instead?
Of course, there really isn't any evidence that a god does exist, even then i don't consider us an "accident." That word implies that something was supposed to happen one way but turned out another way. It seems the only way to have our existence be an accident is to have some consiousness driving the whole thing... god. So, it really makes no sense to say that either god made us or we are an accident... because if we are an accident it implies that god still made us... just not the way he wanted to.
