oh yea...
well the only way i can deal with it and still keep my spirituallity intact is to use the word and its principals ,and do alot of praying that seems to curb my desire to repay evil for evil. for me its a daily struggle to allow the lord to do those things for me i cant seem to do for myself,however the benifets of surrender are always awesome...peace,joy,love in the HOLY GHOST...!

No. Most of the people I live around keep trying to debate my Christianity with me...and sometimes they are aggressive about it...but they aren't against me being a Christian. They just want me to believe everything the same as they do.

The jokesters are out tonight, Midge.
To answer your question, no- not anymore. I grew up with an atheist step dad, though, and it was frequently not pleasant for my mom and me. I won't go into the demise of this man. If this is happening to you or someone you know, just keep being who you are. You are blessed. Unfortunately, you cannot bring everyone into the light- the Bible tells us that not everyone will understand, and also that as Christians, we will be condemned by unbelievers at one time or another for Jesus' sake. Rest assured that God has everything under His control, and has a perfect plan for you. Keep reading the scriptures. God bless you.

It is funny the way people are so self-centred. Do I have to be christian? How about being Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, or even atheist and I have people in my house who are aggressively against my Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaic believe, or even my atheism?

If I do, I would reason, not argue, with them, and at the end of the day, they are still my brothers and sisters.

I live with my elderly mother who is not aggressively against it but she is against it. And she claims to be a Christian but is very selfish and never wants to give to or help anyone. I've told her how to be put right with God, not through dead works and religious rituals and trying to be a good person but by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It's hard to live with the error and see it day after day. But God gives me the strength to be kind. Being kind to someone means being nice to them and loving when they don't deserve it. That's what will win them to the Lord. God bless you.

Yeah. My dog. Gismow. She's a Lhasa Apso and a Buddhist. I think she might have come from a line owned by the Dali Lama. She's a princess. She always wants me top feed her when I'm trying to pray.

In some cases you may be the only Christian they associate with. If you read how Lee Stroebel treated his wife in "Surviving a Spiritual Mismatch in marriage" you will see that there is hope but you may have to put up with alot! Put your trust in Jesus and pray.

Mathew 10
34"Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35 For I have come to turn " 'a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law -
36 a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'[e]
37"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
38 and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

May God bless
