Why are you religious nuts against research into stem cells. The possibilities to help people are huge, yet you guys are against it. They are just cells, the cells are alive yes but they are not a person and never will be.

Isn't it clear that the purpose of Islam, is to void Christianity?

2 John 1: 7Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh (from the Spirit), have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

1 John 2: 22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Savior. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father (God) and the Son (Son-of-God). 23No one who denies the Son (son-of-God) has the Father (God);

What does islam teach???

Qur'an 18:4-5 And warn those who say: Allah has taken to himself a son. They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grievous is the word that comes out of their mouths. They speak nothing but a lie. Quran 4:157-158: That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge,

I have struggled with that question for as long as I can remember. My parents and everyone around me has always instructed me to believe whatever is in our holly book as it is written, yet no one can prove to me that those are the words of god. By all accounts, the book was manufactured, printed, sold and distributed by human beings yet I am supposed to believe everything that is in it.

How can god hold us accountable in the afterlife for not having faith ? God gave us intellect, yet he expects us to believe that the holly book contains his words without any proof? If god wanted us to follow a certain religion, why doesn't he schedule a one day seminar for all of the inhabitants of this earth and instruct us on how to live our life according to his wishes?

I honestly believe that anyone who follows a book who's true identity he/she cannot believe is lying to themselves. Common people, if god wanted us to live our life a certain way, he would contact us directly.

My Husband died on a Sunday and came in my dream just 7 hours after. Do you believe this is in relation with the 7th day, Sunday which is God's day? My Husband and i were believing people but not the kind of persons who go to Church. I only remember this white light which waked me up and my Husband's presence, but nothing of the dream itself. I was so peaceful when i was in this dream, it was so magic, i felt like my Husband was here by me.

In this wonderful movie "Always" with Richard Dreyfuss and Holy Hunter (remake of the original movie with Spencer Tracy and Irene Dunne), the pilot played by Richard Dreyfuss "came back" something like 6 months later, why my Husband "reappeared" so quickly? Because i don't believe it was a normal dream, but my Husband probably tried to prepare me to the terrible shock prior the police tells me.

Thanks!

I was scanning for questions to answer and a a rough count yeilder that about 15 in 20 were atheists with mock question and 4 in 20 were Christians looking for converts and maybe one in 20 is a legit question. Is this what people really want?

They say people get world they deserve but I think we can do better than this. And to the people who just use this as a place to mock religion, you are giving atheists a bad name.

It's not like I'm converting them or anything. I just say things like, hey so how's your Christmas break, and then they go off ranting about how Jesus is not Christ, and he doesnt fulfill the Messianic prophecies. Are Jews normally taught to hate Jesus and Christianity? That's the impression I get.

I'm pro-choice!
1. The world is already overpopulated as it is.
2. It's the woman's body, if she doesn't want it in her, who are you to say she has too.
3. Some mental and medical professionals suggest that a fetus cannot feel pain, no matter how far developed. For example, Stuart Derbyshire, a psychologist at the University of Birmingham, UK, is an expert specializing in how the brain feels pain. He wrote that there is "good evidence that fetuses cannot experience pain." he argues that the complex medical processes necessary for the experience of pain cannot begin until the jolt of life outside the womb kick starts them. The "Earliest" possible time for a fetus to feel pain being in the third trimester.

Heaven is by favor; if it were by merit your dog would go in and you would stay out. Of all the creatures ever made [man] is the most detestable. Of the entire brood, he is the only one... that possesses malice. He is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. ~Mark Twain

So, why hasn't Jesus come down yet? He obviously states that he was going to come back before some of his disciples died (In Mark 9). Come on, just anything could be good... maybe another manifestation would surely change many minds and convince them that Christianity is the way to go...

2000 years.... and people still believe SOMETHING is going to happen
