To the answerer above: Paganism is the fastest growing religion in America, with wide acceptance almost everywhere other than the South and the Bible Belt.

But even Pagans (modern or ancient) don't actually worship the sun. We recognize it as a symbol of masculine power and, often, the masculine aspects of divinity.

Saying that Pagans worship the sun is like saying that Christians worship the cross. Both are silly, and both are false.
