I just answered a question asking if jesus is god or son of god by saying that christians could not agree on this. Other answers proved my response to be correct but I still got thumbs down. Could it be that christians 'can't handle the truth'?

we always hear about the third one being dropped....i do remember reading something somewhere about that, but i don't remember where. I do, however, remember something about it being re-written or something....i don't really remember- does anyone know where it talks about that in the bible if it's even true?

You would disparage my belief in my imaginary God and Heaven?

Let me explain something to you, by quoting myself in a speech before a grand assembly which was a dream I dreamed while asleep, which is when most dreams occur:

"Ye have heard it said of holy long-ago wise people, to know the truth and the truth shall set you free; but I say unto you: imaginary things will set you free." In that speech I was truly imbued with the words.

Who of you would disparage the glory of imaginary beliefs? And those of countless others? So I feel I speak for many believers when I say to you: For your analysis is flawed and has lost its flavor.

Question: will you believe with me, and shun the aephous atheists?

when asked about heaven some of them say we/they will go there in spirit and others say we will go there with our body?
are you worshipping two different books?
why dont you put in agreement first and then you start preaching?
why do you want that other people to take your believes seriously when even between yourselves there is no agreement?

The Q. "why do you spend all your time with the sinners?" He obviously didnot get a good reception from all the sinners but he took nothing to heart & listened. It was not against the sinners he defended His Father. In the face of all the persecution the Jews endured during the 2nd world war, they did not fight back & most of them didnot believe Jesus to be the son of God. "love the person h8 the sin" was his message. These people we call athiests on this forum are not the enemy & i dont think God needs defending as He is a BIG boy, tell me if i'm wrong. God bless.

I asked my wife's minister this question and he said it didn't matter. As long as I accepted Jesus as my savior, it was unimportant. I responded that it did matter to me and what was the answer. He said it was probably a little of both. I then asked him specifically about the Virgin Birth and the Ascension in the New Testament. His response was that in order to be a Christian, one must accept a literal interpretation of those two significant New Testament events (Virgin Birth and Ascension) which establishes Christ's divinity. That makes sense to me. However, I do get tired of the either/or answer to the literal vs symbolic question. To me, picking and choosing that which actually occurred and that which is metaphorical makes no sense and lacks both continuity and credence.
