The Q. "why do you spend all your time with the sinners?" He obviously didnot get a good reception from all the sinners but he took nothing to heart & listened. It was not against the sinners he defended His Father. In the face of all the persecution the Jews endured during the 2nd world war, they did not fight back & most of them didnot believe Jesus to be the son of God. "love the person h8 the sin" was his message. These people we call athiests on this forum are not the enemy & i dont think God needs defending as He is a BIG boy, tell me if i'm wrong. God bless.

Yes i too believe His word should be heard but it seems that it's going to be made difficult by those that are using fire & brimstone to get the message across, i don't see the point in making the work harder. '...falling on deaf ears' does'nt constitute closing them for them before they get the chance to hear. P.S. We are all sinners dude & it don't make me feel Good. God bless.

right on! the only reason we defend though, is because there are young believers that are swayed by the supposed knowledge of athiests. Just because you can quote a lot of stuff does not mean you are right. (this is not against you) God gets glory no matter what we do, and you are right we don't have to defend the most high and awsome God.

I don't think I quite understand the question. Jesus was condemned for spending time with those His culture condemned- tax collectors, prostitues, etc. His reply was that those who are not ill or diseased don't need a doctor- those who are not whole, who are sick or aflicted are the ones who need the care. As the Physician of the soul, that is who He chose to spend His time with- those who needed what only He could give.

Regarding what the Jews endured in WWII.. yeah it happened and it was crappy (the word I really want to use won't show up.)

Regarding atheists- those who firmly believe that there is no supreme being- We'll all find out who's right when we die, right?

Yes, God is a "big boy" as you say. He will not be mocked, His followers will not be ashamed.... eventually.

I hope I answered your question.

He spent time with sinners because we are all sinners and we all need help only a new born is born without sin so at that time he doesn't need to spend time with them.

I don't see atheists as the enemy.
And God doesn't need defending, because God is all things - good, bad, or otherwise.

God is love and he reached out with his son, to save all of us. Sadly man decided to change the message of love and inclusions. God is the truth and the life and the way.
May he bless us all.

God doesn't need defending, but some of these people do need to here the truth about our God.

Yes God can take care of matters hisself, just like taking someones life He is ready to claim.... but we are told that we must do our duty to spread the word... we just can't ride on flowery beds of ease into heaven.... Even if we are persecuted by the ones who don't believe Jesus tells us that even if they hate us remember that they hated Him first.... I don't persecute non-believers.... I don't bash them and i think it is rude and disrespectful if we bash them... we are here to help and led Christian lives, if they don't want to listen we should show them by actions....

Does God need defending? NO, but as a Christian, I will not sit idly by while people belittle and mock my God. Something cries out within me to say something! I love Him; He laid down His life willingly for me AND for those who mock Him, and I will NOT be silent!

Well, I think we should pray before answering those questions. And remember God loves them.
