The bible says the meek will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5 Psalms 37:11) . The righteous will inherit the earth (Psalms 37:29). A new earth and new heaven (2 Peter 3:13). They will build houses (Isaiah 65:21-23)
Earth remain forever (Psalms 104:5 Isiaiah 45:18 Psalms 68:79)

So the Earth will be here forever and righteous people will live on it so how would that happen if all good people went to heaven as claimed by the churches?

im curious about the bible's truth. its important to me knowing it will affect my future

again-only christians answer- i dont want to read junk by people who dont know for sure even when they think they know.
i was wondering- if everyone is a sinner- then y is there a 10 comandments?? whats that about?
how do we recieve eternal life? JUST by believing jesus is the son of god or do i have to obey all 10 commandments? im not saying im gunna start sinning if the 10 commandments dont matter. i was just really curious. jesus died on the cross for our sins. if we lied- why is that bad? everyone is a sinner

theres a book that explains the bible and explains how jesus is eternal and everything called "THE STRANGER on the road to EMMAUS".
it says" if you are a murderer, have commit adultery, blah blah, and a liar, you will be thrown into the lake of fire!
but i thought i once learned that i will be saved if i believe in christ. yes i lie and sin- am i gunna go to hell for it??? =[

Every where we go we now have cameras watching us. Paper money seems to be on it's way out, and without a credit card you are severely limited in what you can and cannot do. I would like to know if you think we are in our first awkward steps into the prelude of the mark of the beast or not.

I went to answer that last question about the Retard and zap it was gone. Never knew.. "you know who"... to zap anything so fast. I tried to look at the "you know who" troll police guys profile and zap that was nonexistance too. Are we really being monitored FINALLY!!

Sorry, but I can say Voldmort out loud, but I think that "you know who" has a filter that grabs any post that comes on with the name in it.

I know paganism has been around just about forever, but what happens when a pagan dies? And if they are polytheistic, then who is their creator?

"The need for love lies at the very foundation of human existence. It results from the profound interdependence we all share with one another. However capable and skillful an individual may be, left alone, he or she will not survive. However vigorous and independent one may feel during the most prosperous periods of life, when one is sick or very young or very old, one must depend on the support of others. Independence, of course, is a fundamental law of nature. Not only higher forms of life but also many of the smallest insects are social beings who, without any religion, law or education, survive by mutual cooperation based on an innate recognition of their interconnectedness. The most subtle level of material phenomena is also governed by interdependence. All phenomena from the planet we inhabit to the oceans, clouds, forests and flowers that surround us, arise in dependence upon subtle patterns of energy. Without their proper interaction, they dissolve and decay. "

... truth is NOT eternal; that's it IS changable from person to person?

So basically, if I told you that my cat is an alien from the planet XonoX and I really believed what I was saying, I wouldn't be lying? If I said that my friend, who is guilty of cold-blood murder, actually killed by accident, and I really believed what I was saying, I wouldn't by lying? If I told you that it's really 133:9001 p.m. on XonoX and I really believed it to be true, I wouldn't be lying?

"Truth is eternal, knowledge is changable. It is disasterous to confuse them."

I spent my life doing and being a good church girl. Eventually all I see is obcession with a way of life. Obcession with appearences. Isolation between churchie people and non churched people. Christians who think their attendence to church makes or breaks them. People who die for misdirected allegiences.the conservative right wing scares the crap outta me. Anyone else feel this way?

The Bible states "In the beginning God created Heaven and Earth. It goes on to tell of creation of foul in the air and creation of mild animals, then later creation of Adam and Eve. No proof or mention he created humungus animals who walked and ruled the earth in their time...Saber toothed tigers, T Rex, and all other kinds of dinosaurs with Adam and Eve and all the people who begot and begot down the ancestry line...no mention of dinosaurs or giant hovering mastadons, many creatures carnivorous, yet we have their bones for proof they existed. If the Bible is correct " In the beginning " IS THE BEGINNING of all things. As in the beginning WAS God. If we are to believe the Bible, the beginning started with God's creation of everything. As with a beginning there is nothing before. Where do the dinosaurs come in ?

Why do you think that scientists have not yet proven after countless failed attempts that genetic mutation can not breed different species? Also, there are certain constructs in biology, certain particular features that can't be explained by evolution because they have irreduceable complexity. Take the eye, for instance. How do you develop something as complicated as the eye by a process of natural selection. It doesn't seem like that would fit with the slow gradual process where small changes get selected for. You'd never get there. The problem with that argument is biology actually is identifying multiple intermediate steps from the simplest single light-sensitive cell to something as complicated as the eye which clearly could have evolution acting upon them and result in a complicated structure.

And church around here (middle TN) don't start until 10 to 11 am. By then I am always doing something that involves work. I feel bad not going to church, but our business comes first. Does anyone have any ideas?

i'm a freshman in high school and i am surrounded by drugs, sex and violence basically every day. for a long time i didn't believe in god or anything, i basically said it was a bunch of bull crap (not true now of course). now, i'm beginning to pray again and read my bible, and really becoming spiritually connected. the only problem i have is that my mom doesn't take us to church. i know that's not an excuse or anything, but i would like to at least be able to talk to other christians my age. i was wondering if any of you know of online youth groups, online sermons, etc. I really would like to start going to church again but i think something simple like this would be fine for now. thanks for the help, peace&love.

Let us look at this quotation from the Qua'aran, please :

Sura 73:10,11 Allah says this to the Muslim there:: "Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His path, and who receive guidance. And have patience with what they say, and leave them with noble (dignity). And leave me (alone to deal with) those in possession of the good things of life, who (yet) deny the truth, and bear with them."(16:125)." "Nor can goodness and evil be equal. Repel (evil) with what is better (41:34)."

While there are, also, some quotations that can be twisted to favour the Fanatics, my question is can you judge all Muslims by the acts of a few misguided ones?

May I have your opinions, please?

I shall not mind those who would be rude and hurting in their Answers. I shall pray for them, too.

Ma sa'alamah!

I'm Roman Catholic and i've started to doubt God and it scared me. But then I realize I love him and I pray to him and its my church taht i think is messed up. Alot of these churches are nice but some are power hungry and i hate going to mass on sunday. I'd rather worship outdoors in a big field or in prayer. my mom says its sinful and i mean i could be protesant because back then i would of agreed with Martin luther on some terms. Basically am i doomed for not going to mass and is it wrong to never want to go?
