I do believe that the end times are so close, I mean that we as Christian's and all other religions are going to be challenged, by our faiths with God the father...Huge discussion here in my home, I am really interested in you thoughts, with what is happening today in Iraq.Iran.China.North Korea. and USA?

There are so FEW of us (only about 15 million worldwide), and so many people seem to have an issue with our existance....we are not militant, we are not all millionaires (contary to popular belief, but dont even get me STARTED on that particular stereotype, it arose during a time period when people believed that herbs in your pocket protected against the plague and that Jews had horns and tails), and we are fairly unobtrusive--most people have never even MET jew, so why do they all seem to hate us? It is a really sad state of affairs, and I want to hear people's opinions on the matter, because I am quite confused. What did we do wrong???

The reason why I ask this in religion is because on my previous question about religion I felt Deja Vu when the 20th answer hit. WOW, how do you explain Deja Vu? I could feel my body burning with recognition of this experience. I knew his answer by heart already even before I read it(evas..), is it a sign from God or something?

The Bible says that God is all knowing. This means that God knows all that happened in the past and all that will happen in the future. Therefore, God knew when he created Lucifer, that Lucifer would eventually rebel against God and cause all sorts of mischief and suffering, including the eternal damnation of many souls made in God's image. The Bible also says that God is all good. So why would a God that is all good and all knowing create the Devil?

p.s. I am not asking this question to mock fundamentalist christians. I'm not an athiest. I am an agnostic that believes in God, but who also realizes that there are many questions which none of the major religions can answer. In other words, I want people to critically think about such questions so that they will not blindly follow religious dogma.

Jesus said he was sent from God--He said he was the truth, the way, the son of God, the creator, that no one comes to the father but by him. Now he was either telling the truth, was insane, or a liar. How can they say he was another great teacher and not believe what he said?

I went to a Unitarian Universalist church for two weeks, and I love it. but I don't know if I should "sign the book," which means I'd be a member. I don't know when the'll start talking to me about joining, but I'm sure they will. I heard they had a same sex marriage a couple of months ago, which I think is really cool.
