Let me add a little to this question ... Traditionalist Christian teachings tell us that we should be, in essence, the same -- we should all follow the same rules, we should all behave in the same manner, we should all express ourselves in the same way. Why does God make us so diverse, such uniquely different people, if he honestly wants us to all fit into a certain little picture? Do you not think that the diversity we see on our planet and among each other is proof that God wants us to embrace our individuality?

We are the same... we just don't look too hard.

You are very correct in your point of view of why we should be individualist. I have always thought if religions are really from God or not. That is why I don't accept religions, because they bring the message of unequality and hatred with them. I would love to see a world with no religion. With hope to see that day.

Take care. =)

It depends on what you mean when you say "different" I believe we are one being part of God.

The element that I feel that makes us "different" or "unique" is the individual personalities that we have.
