My religion?

Question

I'm Roman Catholic and i've started to doubt God and it scared me. But then I realize I love him and I pray to him and its my church taht i think is messed up. Alot of these churches are nice but some are power hungry and i hate going to mass on sunday. I'd rather worship outdoors in a big field or in prayer. my mom says its sinful and i mean i could be protesant because back then i would of agreed with Martin luther on some terms. Basically am i doomed for not going to mass and is it wrong to never want to go?

Catholism is a false religion. I'm not saying that some Catholics are not saved. They are responsible for the killings of millions of Christians. The catecism states that Muslims worship the same God. Yet Muslims kill Christians & Jews and it is considered a form of jihad. Also Muslims don't believe Jesus was the son of God. Then their is the lent, and don't eat meat on Good friday which is just another doctrine that Catholics make up. Confessional is another area that is wrong. We are forgiven for are sin, only by the blood of Christ. Going and apologizing and doing the same sin over and over is not going to work. It is said many people will come to me in that day and say lord lord, and he will say depart from me you worker of inquity I never knew you. Being born again, is the only way to receive eternal life, God will not forgive sin, because of anyone being sorry. Just like a good judge at a court will not let murders get away with it. Then they call the preist father which is another thing wrong with catholics. God is our father, not the preist. Also the Virgin Mary should not be worshipped, that is completely wrong. And homosexuality is wrong its even in the New Testament.

We are also living in the last empire known as the holy roman empire which started when charlamane was crowned by Pope Leo. If you look at Daniels propehcy he told Nebuchadrezzar his dream was about a huge image made of various materials (gold, silver, brass, iron, and iron mingled with clay.) Notice Iron was the Roman Empire. The Iron mingled with clay is the empire we now live in. In the Holy Roman Empire their has always been a pope and a political leader. This means that the false prophet will be the pope. The Roman Papacy says the next pope will be evil. Because they have run out of symbols, He is called Petrum Romanum. This is just more evidence against Catholism.

I would say don't stick with that religion and become a protestant. Catholics rely on tradition, protestants are on fire for God.

Dear Emmie;

You are not doomed! I was a Catholic for more than 45yrs., I left because very few of that church's teachings agree with the Bible. I agree with you that the Roman church is in a mess. The archdiocese of Chicago, the nations largest. Is almost broke, having to pay out millions of dollars to pay victims of its pedophile priests!
Read sometime, why Martin Luther left the Roman church. If you can go out and visit some Christian churches. No statues, no father so and so, no confessions to a priest who is just as much a sinner as you and I. No rosaries, holy water or worship of the wafer god.
If you wish, please write me, and I will give you all the details you can handle about the Roman church. By the way, there is no Biblical authorization for the pope.
You can worship God anytime or place you choose. Talk to God the way you would talk to your best friend. You can use your own words. You can tell him whatever is on your mind. No one can make God blush! He knows us better than we know ourselves!

I believe God is calling you out of it and possibly into His end Time Remnant Church.

There is just no doubt that the Roman Catholics is the wrong church to be in. They have changed so many of Gods laws and commandments.

PLEASE FIND A COMMANDMENT KEEPING CHURCH THAT GOES STRICTLY FROM THE BIBLE AND THE BIBLE ONLY.

No! That is perfectly normal. Just ask God if the Roman Catholic church is the true church. But ask with a sincere heart and an open mind. You are not wrong or evil for doubting your church, and I admire you for admitting that!

Yes, I think that if you do love God, then you should return to Holy Mass.

Let's not forget that Christ Is Literally Present in the Holy Eucharist. In some cases(though admittedly, not most often)Mass **IS**celebrated outdoors, & the only way you will find out when it is happening is if you attend Mass regularly, & keep up to date with what is going on in the Church.

From one Emmie to another, no you're not doomed. If your gut feeling is telling you something is wrong, then guess what...something is wrong. What is right for others, doesn't necessarily mean it's right for you too. You have to follow your heart and find what rings true in your heart. That's the only way you will find the truth. I was in a similar situation where I didn't like what I was seeing within the church I belonged to. It didn't feel right to me and I wasn't going to conform only to their beliefs. Your religious/spiritual beliefs are personal, you don't go with the flow just because someone tells you to. Otherwise, you're just lying to yourself and how will you grow? You don't. Take it from someone who's been in your situation, broke free, and found her own beliefs and truths by following her heart. You'll be glad you did.

According to Roman Catholicism, it's a mortal sin. But, since I'm not a Roman Catholic any longer, I can care less what that organization classifies as a sin. And I would encourage you to seek another church where the truth is proclaimed.

There are a lot of things that have changed within the Catholic Church in recent years and I am sure more will change in the future... If the parish you are at is unsatisfying then consider finding one that fills your heart... My wife and I walked out on one and didn't go for a year and a half because of the priest. we have found a new parish and are quite happy.

True religion is a deeply personal thing. The CHURCH is mearly a means in which you excresie control over people. Religion on it's own has cause very little strife, while the CHURCH seems to excel in it. If I were you, I'd leave the church and follow my own path, what ever that may be.

Well you should keep the sabbath holy. If you dont like your chuch find another one but by all means dont skip church. If youc ant fidn one now just do what you said worship in a field or get some worship CDs and use thoose. Youre only doomed if you dont believe in jesus not if you dont go to chuch
