A millenium is a thousand years, and there have been two since Jesus died.

The very definition of millenium is "1000 years". Christ was born in approximately 12 BC. Yes, "BC" stands for "Before Christ". However, Christ was not recognized as a man until his Bar Mitzva which was held when he was approximately 12. Prior to that, he did not have the power of God in his hands nor the knowledge to preach God's word so he was not recognized as the Savior by anyone other than his parents (Mary and Joseph) until after the taught the priests in the temple. That was at about age 12 when they went to the temple for his Bar Mitzva. Let's not forget, Mary and Joseph were Jews as was Christ.

Although on the face of your question, one could certainly give a number of years, but I sense your question involves Jesus Christ's ministry and millenium prophesy. In Christian eschatology (sudy of end times), premillenialism means Christ will reign for 1000 years at his second coming. Many have tied end times to millenium change and we certainly experienced that feeling when the year 2000 happened. Following Christ's 1000 year reign will be the tribulation Revelation 20:1-6. As a meaning for this change some will see great joy in the Lord's 2nd coming and others will fear great calamity and judgement for our acts of rebellion and sin against God. Christ's birth marked new hope as Christians celebrate each new millienium.......

My church teaches that Jesus Christ was born some time in April. (Not that it really matters when he was born, just that he was!) It also teaches that the Millenium is a time after Jesus comes to earth again and all the evil will be destroyed. It will be a time for those who didnt get the chance to live long (infant deaths) to live a life. The earth will be free from sin and evil, alot of other stuff will happen too. After that time is up the devil will be "freed" again and then a final battle between good and evil will begin. (Thats is roughly the belief, its kinda complicated)

Jesus Christ was born on April 6th, almost 2,007 years ago. The millennium is that 1,000 years of reign by Jesus Christ when He returns again. It will be a period of great peace without the influence of Satan.
It will also be a period where many sacred ordinances must be performed in His temples for the salvation of man.

A millennium equals to 1000 years. According to Christians, Jesus (peace be upon him) was born on Christmas.

millenium means 1000 years.
No one knows when Christ was born. The current year was a educated (for that time) guesstimate. We do know that the Herod who ordered the children of Bethlehem slaughtered died in what we know as 4 BC.
