You have got to be kidding me.

It has been brought to my attention that the ark didn't have a deck, and if it flipped no one would fall out.

I can see the people, gathered around tiny cracks between the boards, surrounded by wild animals and all their stinking filth, gasping for fresh air.

Surely this isnt the case!

Friend of mine got raped and infected with Herpes virus, she would have to use condoms not to give infection to her husband if she gets married. Is this okay if they use it (following natural cycle ) on days when she would not get pregnant anyway? If not, what if they cut a tip of condom what would allow sperm for easy exit, this way there is no "blockage" and the skin of the penis is protected what greatly lower the risk of infection. Purposely broken condom would not be protect from pregnancy anymore (obviously) .

What is the True Religion? Every people worshipped their god, or a particular spirit, and the gave Him the name god. For instance Hinduism worship Many gods, and I find the idea of all religions very confusing, and there is so much conflict in all these religions. So what is, " The Universal Religion". I have examined all Religions, and what I found was that, " The Gods" were spirits ruling particular people. For instance greeks worship Zeus, Jewish worship Yahweh, and Indians worship Many millions of Gods. Budhism, is a philosophy, or psychology,. Yet my questions is, I am searching for the Truth, and I have not found, a True Religion. All religions, were ways of life, Traditions of different people, worshipping different spirits. For instance my clan in Africa -Sudan Kongor worship Deng, and Deng was seen as God, and they sacrifice animals to him.So what is the TRUTH? So tell me the Truth. what is the True Religion...

I've heard this story maybe a dozen times...An atheists, while trying to disprove God's existence, comes to believe in him. Have you also heard this? Why do you think this happens?

What type of drainage system was on the ark? If rain came for 40 days and 40 nights, and it was enough to cover the whole entire earth, that is some serious rainfall folks! I don't know how much but it is a lot! Not to mention the huge tsunami-size waves that would come from such a storm...

So, how did Noah design the ark to make sure the heavy rains and waves drained off quickly?

What you have to do is whenever you get any U.S.A $ note cross out the word god and replace it with science so it says the far superior statement of "In science we trust."

Attention to vinslave and others who just disagree with Christian morals...I am a Christian in training....it means, you are working towards reading your bible every day, living to be an example of God, having faith in God to help you through the tough times...that's what a christian in training is. And, just because some Christians go around trying to " throw the bible down your throat" doesn't mean we all do it. We believe in the One and Only God....that's our faith. If you don't like it , then don't comment! We are just trying to make sure that everyone is saved, whether it is with our religion or not. We just want to witness to everyone because we don't want anyone left here on judgement day that is sentenced to hell. ANd to those of you who agree with me...thankyou. It makes me feel more confident to proclaim the word like I'm suppose to!

Do you ever have questions or experience things that conflict with your faith-based conclusions? If so, how do you reconcile these differences? I'm just very curious because it doesn't make sense to me for faith to the main reason for thinking something to be true or explaining life. But it obviously does make sense to many people. Why?

I mean, both versions of the testaments are supposedly the word of God. And what God says goes. But why would He change his mind, and decide that he suddenly thought slavery was wrong? And who would want to follow a former supporter of slavery?

"Exodus Chapter 21, verse 1:

Now these are the ordinances which you shall set before them. When you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve six years, and in the seventh he shall go out free, for nothing. If he comes in single, he shall go out single; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's and he shall go out alone. But if the slave plainly says, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,' then his master shall bring him to God, and he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for life. "

Same with evolution, it doesn't care if you reject the notion that you are descended from pond scum. I am tired of fundies answering evolution questions with "I did not come from monkeys" or some other such baseless refusal of a perfectly valid scientific theory.

Whole galaxies colide with one another. Comets and asteroids frequently colide with planets and moons. The paths of planets (such as the Earth) around their suns is eliptical (unstable) not circular.

The surface of 99.9% of planets are totally inhospitable for life to form.

And even on a planet such as Earth (where life is possible) hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanos (and other such phenomanon) wreak havok with the life that does exist.

The work of a "god" ?

Hardly!

I've lived in my condo for about 2 years now, and weird stuff has always happened there. It doesn't usually happen to me, but it happens quite a bit to my husband, and my sister (when she comes over to visit).

** My stereo in my living room turns itself on occationally (but we never use the radio setting, it's always on AUX)
** I get the feeling that I need to run out of a room sometimes, like someone is standing right behind me.
** My daughter has been getting really scared at night,
** Today my husband said that the bed was shaking and woke him up.
** Earlier this week my cat was howling at something by the front door, swatting at it, then acting submissive afterwards.
** I've had items disappear from the spot I've left them, I will search the house, and they will end up in the spot that I looked before.
** I've heard whispering on my pillow, then in my ear while I was going to the bathroom.

I'm not bothered by it really, but just would like opinions. Thanks!

Because if so fine. Critical analysis of evolution :Mounds of evidence for. No evidence against.
creationism: no evidence for. Says that plants where made before the sun this is impossible. States that the world is only 6,002 years old which we know to be untrue. Says that only 2 people where created this we know isn't enough genetic diversity to allow a species to continue. Contradictory and scientifically inaccurate though out. So from a critical analysis of evolution we come to the conclusion yes evolution occurred but a critical analysis of creationism shows that it is complete and utter rubbish. Yep I'm fine with teaching kids that. Are you?
