Thunder is made by the vacuum that the lighting causes collapsing in on itself; Now who made the lighting and caused the thunder. The Great Spirit did, no bowling balls involved at all my dear. God made all con trolls all- what is is his making--not a bowling ball's. Maybe Momma lacks the education to know what causes the sound; but she does know who is behind it all: and that is the most important part of the discussion!

What do I think of what? How should anyone know whether or not your teacher is going to hell? As for the weather, believe in your science book; however, your mom has painted a neat audio and visual picture of the weather, and she must be a very imaginative and creative person. Cherish her! You probably don't deserve her.

I will tell you a little secret. There are real witches and wizards but as you might know we make sure the Muggles teachers lie to the students about our existence.
God love to bowl and damn if He does get a perfect game every time. That really p!sses Moses off. Different story when they play golf.

Your momma is teasing. Lightning occurs when precipitation goes up and down in clouds; the resulting potential difference causes an electrical discharge (lightning), which makes sound (thunder).

Honor thy mother and thy father, or you'll be in hell right along with the science teacher.
Seriously, though, parents only tell their children that type of nonsense because they don't know the answers and are afraid of looking like ignoramuses.

Mommas have been saying that for years, its just to calm your fears, that's why we love our mommas. No, the teacher isn't going to hell for that, only if she rejects Jesus

Lying before children is not a good thing because when they come to know the real facts, they are confused. They may be carried away with wrong notions.
