and expect us to go "My god, you're absolutely right?"

At what point will you realize that quoting Biblical scripture at us is not going to change our minds. We do not believe the Bible is true - YOU do, and that's why you're Christians.

Christians: If I quoted the Quran at you saying that belief that Jesus is the son of god is false, would you change your religion? Would you stop believing that Jesus is god's son just because the Quran says so? Why not? I mean, a book SAYS SO, so it MUST be true, right?

If the great majority of human beings agreed with your theory, then what? Would you come together as a huge and unified brain to propose a well-designed plan for the reorganization and governance of the world that it will become a country with a divine civilization?

once there was a married couple who had a little girl. they never told or tought her about god or jesus. one day when she was 5 her parents got in an argument in front of her. then her dad pulled out a gun and shot his wife then shot his self. the little girl got a foster mom that believed in god and went to church every sunday. on sunday the foster mom took her to sunday school and ask the teacher if she can be patient with her because she didn't know god or jesus. the teacher held up a picture of god and asked if any one knew who it was. the little girl answered that's easy. that's the man who held me as my dad shot his self and my mom. do u believe it. i sure do. that's how good god really is. and this is a true story from a newspaper about a year ago.

mainly because our God is a thorn in the eye of the 'ascended masters' (one of whom is the light-bearer or Lucifer). Get rid of the Jews and their Book, and their God will disappear too - or at least be proven faithless. Oh really ?

We have to kill to eat, that means for one organism to survive many others have to suffer death.

Not to mention all of the natural ways to cause living things to suffer.

I don't believe there is a god, but to those of you who do, why would he design something so evil?

Gee, all this blasphemy has made me hungry.

I would go eat the body of Christ, but that kid is far too emaciated for his own good. At least I can drink his blood, too bad it isn't fresh.

Can Jesus make himself magically heavier, so there is more food on him?

what do you think of these scriptures?

"in whose case the god of this world (satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Cor. 4:4

"and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. That's why God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe a lie." 2 thess. 2:10-11

Since everyone likes to point out contradictions...

The Quran says:"Relate in the Book the story of Mary, when she withdrew from her family, to a place in the East. She screened herself from them; then We sent to her Our spirit (angel Gabriel) and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. She said: I seek refuge from you in God Most Gracious (come not near) if you do fear God. He said: Nay, I am only a Messenger from your Lord, to announce to you the gift of a pure son. She said: How shall I have a son, when no man has ever touched me, and I am not unchaste? He said: So it will be, your Lord says: ‘That is easy for Me; and We wish to appoint him as a sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It was a matter so decreed" (Quran 19:16-21).
And:
"She (Mary) said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me.' He (God) said: ‘So (it will be) for God creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: ‘Be!'- and it is" (3:47).

Then what was the first of very firsts?

There could not of been absolute zero, nothingness, non existance then out of the blue popped out something.

Something always had to exist in whatever form to create what is now.

So what is your answer to this that takes less leap of faith than God always existing which has backing of historical proof of Jesus and a Bible that many historians use than an athiest hypothesis that has only a grabbed out of the air guess a suggestion rather.

Willys cynical thought for the fugging day;

There can be no freedom of religion without freedom from fawking religion!

So, I'm standing at a bus stop and they pull up. A car load of well meaning, bible thumping nut cases that are just frantic! The middle aged professionally dressed woman rushes forward...She takes my arm and with trembling voices she asks...."Have you found Jesus?" Her eyes plead with an urgency that is out of proportion to a bus stop.

Now normally I just politely decline the sermon, and free religious paperwork that such folk pawn off on unsuspecting by-standers. But, unfortunately for her, she is the fourth car to accost me in the last 9 minutes. So by now I'm beginning to wonder what the heck is wrong with these people. I mean if its not Christians it is the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Can a simple Druid get no peace?

So calmly as I can muster, without being sarcastic I reply, "You people lost him, again??"

The woman looks confused. This is not the response she was hoping for and she needs to regroup. She takes a deep breath intending to launch into her sales pitch for her God, and church, paying no heed to the concept that I might not be into being converted. I decide to not let her get going so I launch into a speech of my own...

"What is wrong with you Christians? Every time I turn around you've lost Him!" I hit her with a glare of accusation. "I mean really..." I take a measured breath. "How do you expect to have anyone follow a deity that you can't even find!"

The poor woman looks stunned. This isn't going so good. Panicked she looks desperately to the car... Surely one of the men can help.... Undaunted I press on... "Maybe the problem is with you people... I mean Muslims never seem to loose there deity. Come to think of it neither do Jews, or Pagans of any kind."

I look at the man getting out of the car. He's all smiles. "I realize you people used to burn people like me at the stake... What was that about... deity even? I may be a Pagan-heathen, but I have never ever woke up panicked that I couldn't find my Goddess or God. They are always right where they should be... In the fire of my candle, in the air that I breath, in the earth that I stand on, in the water of my spring. I never feel abandoned by my deity(ies)."

"Of course, you Christians aren't much fun..." I continue. By now they are all out of the car.

Befuddled, aghast, and at a loss for words.

"Of course," I offer trying to give them some defense for losing Jesus. "He could have left due to religious differences. If I remember correctly He was Jewish. So if you are really so eager to find him..." I smile gently to soften the blow. "Check the nearest synagogue. He's probably in there. Also you folks should try and remember that this is America... Where freedom of religion means ALL religions."

Slowly they climb back into their car and drive away. I stand at the bus stop... No pamphlets, no bible, no dogma. I haven't found Jesus, but I haven't lost him either.

Someone posted this here because they believe no one can have to much Deity. (Deity Coke)

It is a blessing in disguise. You can keep it to your self or pass it on.

Oh, and if you've found Jesus, please get his face on the evening news A.S.A.P so the Christians can stop looking for him!

Here are two parts of the bible which contridict each other:

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves." -- Romans 13:1-2

Why the contridiction? I find it so hard to keep my faith when I find these obvious contridictions. Someone please help.

Pilatos cannot be seen as the "bad guy" since he was accomplishing god´s plan.
Not even Judas, without him jesus would have died of a heart attack or something like that.
or did god used these people as puppets and denied them the famous "free will" just to accomplish his plans?
