Couldn't it just be a test?

"Ania", an Answers member since Feb. 10, 2006, has answered a question by stating," There are two thoughts on Cain's wife. One says that G-d had also put others on the earth. The other says that it was one of his sisters. Adam and Eve did have other children. And, then, THERE WAS NO STIGMA ON FAMILIES REPRODUCING WITH THEIR OWN."
If what was allowed in scripture, in this regard, has become an acceptable change thru the ages [ASSUMING THAT MOST OF US DO NOT NOW SLEEP WITH THEIR SISTERS ] then why can't other suposed INNITIAL words of God be understood differently today?

Can someone believe a god exists yet still vigorously deny that anyone has ever delivered a message from that god?

What about Matt. 22:37-40, "Love God with all your heart and your neighbors as yourself?" Isn't love to God and our neighbors all Jesus requires? These are new commandments.

My question comes from this article:

U.S. worried about homegrown terrorists
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/politics/4450152.html

TRUTH: There is no fear at all, regarding "homegrown terrorists" from any other sector of America culture. Not from Hindus or Jews or Buddhists...theres only one area...Islam.

America has a new generation of fat-weak naive leftists. They refuse to think or step outside of their little pc-matrix. Despite the glaring reality...the most obvious possible observation...they will still respond to questions like this with:

"Christian abortion clinc bombers are JUST AS BIG a threat" or
"You cant convict the whole for the actions of a few. EVERY religion has the same thing".

Absolute and total dissociation with reality. In some ways, I cant blame this weak pc generation, after all, its not a pleasant thing to acknoweldge, especially because, if we accept that Islam is the problem, the "solutions" appear gastly.

I was sent this in an email. The way I understand the story a group scientist in Siberia drilled 50 miles into the center of the Earth. At that point there drill started spinning. They dropped a thermometer in the hole and the temperature was 12,000 Fahrenheit. They dropped a microphone a to their surprise they heard the screams of people crying out in torment. I would like to know what you think of this. Maybe you have heard it before. If not here's the link:

Christians claim that being homosexual is wrong because it says so in the bible (by the way, it doesn't). Yet their whole religion is based on a sin. We are supposed live by the Ten Commandments and the first commandment is "Thou shall not worship false idols" Yet all Christian religions worhip Jesus Christ and his likeness is at the head of every church. Funny the only recorded manifastation of God on Earth was as a burning bush.

So if you go to Church and pay homage to Jesus and worship in his image, how can you defend yourselves as not having sinned by disobeying God's first commandment. You worship from a book created in the sixth century from poor translations of older texts and whose ideas reflect a period in history that we shouldn't really take pride in. The deciples of Jesus were sent out to spread the word of God, not the worship of Jesus and our religous leaders were never meant to try to usurp power for themselves.

I mean it's just an old boys club, nothing more. And in fact they do a LOT of good things. Hospital visits, donations to charity, to name but a few.
So what is it that you guys have against them? My dad was a Mason (I never was) and it was not much more than a place for the boys to get together, play cards and have a few beers.
Can ANY of you give me one thing wrong with that? And by that I mean a REAL thing wrong, not the made up crap you usually come up with...

If God existed before the universe and is transcendent he is external to it and cannot effect it unless he enters it and becomes a part of it then he cannot be transcendent- a total paradox and impossible.
