I am a Christian and I have nothing against Masons. If fact I don't know any that do. My grandpa was a Mason and an upstanding Christian. Just because a few vocal Christians may have a problem with the group, doesn't mean that all of us do. Such blanket accusations are the root of much hate and should be avoided at all costs.

I am a Christian and I have nothing against Masons. I think that you have come across certain Christians who have had bad encounters with Masons. I have known and dated Masons and the only thing that sets them apart from everyone else is their elite affiliation. I have also met Masons who are Christians. Like I said before, I think you just had some bad encounters and that is normal in any situation. Do not let those negative experiences impact how you feel about Christians. We don't all hold a grudge against Masons :)

Every male member of my family has been a Mason as far back as we can trace.
I am a Christian Pastor and a 3 time Past Master of my Masonic Lodge.
it may be that the message of the Masonic Order has been lost or buried over the years but there is nothing that I as a Bible believing Christian Pastor that I find offensive or unscriptural.

Seriously what do you have against the truth. My friends here in town are Masons and Christians. That lets the hot air out of your ballon. Made up crap who comes up with? Why do you attack when you have no facts or figures or even knowledge?

I don't have an answer other than to say I agree with you. My dad is a Mason also and I've not seen anything in their beliefs that run contrary to Christianity. If anything, Mason's actually do what Jesus commanded (give to the poor, protect widows and orphans, and heal the sick).
I think that Christians can sometimes be misled by people with "other" motives.

One thing the "Christians" could have against Masons....Masons take a pledge to not have sex with any other Mason's wife....not just anyone's wife,,,another Mason's wife.
Kind of "un Christian", don't you think?
If you'll delve into the study of Masons, you'll find quite a bit to be concerned about.
You didn't ask about people other than "Christians" but, others are concerned, also.

A lot of people believe that the original Masonic Temple was a tool for Satan worshippers. This rumor was compounded by the fact that their rituals remain very secret to this day--especially at the very topmost levels.
There is a lot of suspicion about that.

Masons are a secret society. They bow down to an unknown god. They go through rituals they most don't understand. There are many books about Masons that clarify the issues and none of them are "made up."

The problem Christians have with Masons is two-fold. The club seems to say that any religion is OK.
The other problem is the rumor that although the first levels of Masons are innocuous enough, as you progress through the levels, it becomes more nefarious.
