I heard that it's possible that the prophet Muhammed could of had a petite mal seizure when he was out in the desert, and not had a religious experience. Is there any evidence surrouding this, or is it just random speculation? Because if he really wasn't visited by Gabriel, and the majority of the world's wars (past and present) were all caused by one seizure...? Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Everywhere I look in here it seems Atheists are working double-overtime to push their views onto everyone, and bashing anyone who disagrees with them. There are many who seem to be working full-time here - all day, every day tearing people to shreds. Ironically, they love to accuse religious people of "pushing their ideas". Would it be easier for Atheists to get their point across if they weren't so pushy? Come to think of it, I'm not so sure that Atheists are even real.. Can anyone tell me if they really exist? I mean, I've never actually seen one, but the whole idea sounds too ridiculous to me. I think the whole "Atheism" thing is entirely made up. Can anyone shed some light on this?

God is a Jewish God;and all his prophets are jewish; so this explains why islam is a cult and a man made religion.

Here we go bear with me.............
The other day a jehovah knocked my door and we had a bit of a barny ( ill go in to that again) and he showed me a sentance that just puts justice into prospective

it went something like this

jesus was on trial so when they accused him for whatever it was he replied
'you dont believe me even when i tell the truth'

well cut a long story short they killed him and since then we are not left to forget

so next time a judge tries to send you down find this passage and quote it to him , tell him they messed up too and, you dont want to be remebered for being wrongly imprisioned

Am i right or what?!?

so do you think it would work??

they cant admit they are wrong!

I honestly cannot see how it could offend anyone, why did it cause so much fuss. It isn’t about Jesus it's about a man called Brian who lived at the same time as Jesus, the only seen Jesus is in is when he is telling a story and some one right at the back can't hear him. The bit with the leper some very strict religious people might have been offended by. Did Mary Whitehouse see the film? And what happened to her.

Being a freelance nihilist, I often fret about reconciling my downer views with the joys of living. I've come to terms with this through moderation - for every moment of good there is a corresponding moment of evil and so on. What do you think?

So how then do these multi-million dollar fundamentalist mega-churches fit in? Don't you think Jesus would be upset seeing so much wealth squandered on such things?

What I am saying is do you think the ethics that are presented in the Bible (like no stealing, no lying, honor your parents) are important? Is it possible to live by this ethical code, but not be a Christian? Do you think that America would be the country that it is without this Christian ethics base?

Have any of you done any further research than just reading "The Davinci Code"? I am curious as to if anyone has read "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" by Michael Baigent or "The Alabaster Jar" by an author whose name I cannot recall.
