Being a freelance nihilist, I often fret about reconciling my downer views with the joys of living. I've come to terms with this through moderation - for every moment of good there is a corresponding moment of evil and so on. What do you think?

The universe seems to be neutral so I guess it's a good idea.
I'm agnostic so I really don't have any religious law governing me.

The Rule of St. Benedict tells us to have moderation in all things. I think that is good advice for a happy, and healthy life.

Well being a christian I've received Christ as savior who gives me his rest and his peace for whatever the situation.
