I heard that it's possible that the prophet Muhammed could of had a petite mal seizure when he was out in the desert, and not had a religious experience. Is there any evidence surrouding this, or is it just random speculation? Because if he really wasn't visited by Gabriel, and the majority of the world's wars (past and present) were all caused by one seizure...? Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated.

The evidence that renders anything that came out of Muhammed's mouth as even less than credible is that Muhammed was a "Child Molester"!!!

Muhammed had sexual intercourse with a 9 year old "Child" when he was 54 years old!!

From a Muslim site;

The "Real" God does not condone "Child Molesting"!!!

For the mislead answerer below;

Sahih Bukhari Vol. 5, Book 58, No. 236:
Narrated Hisham's father: Khadija died three years before the Prophet departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married 'Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consummated that marriage when she was nine years old.

I do not remember any teachings or readings that suggest seizures for Muhammad PBUH. His encounters with Jibrael AH are numerous all through his life, so all these holy wars were not based on one incident from a child. Also Muhammad became a prophet in adulthood, as a child he was just different. I have tried to search this 9 year old story and have not found things that are solid provable, there is Islamic data suggesting that she was 9 and there is data suggesting that she was in her late teen age when the marriage was consumated. (this is a clarification to the first responder up here). I would by all means maintain respect to any other religion regardless of my beliefs if I wish for you to understand me. Feel free to email me for any more questions about my religion. peace, a Muslim
