I have observed that many people these days ask questions not to gain knowlage or understanding but instead to look for someone to confirm thier beliefs for them. Is this an accurate assement and if so/not why? Thank you for your thoughts.

We are looking for people who just seem to be in the right place at the right time. Not emergency services workers, police, firefighters, emt's...that's there job and they're placed in those positions. Looking for stories of someone who came from no where, and saved a life or stopped a tragedy from occuring.

I'm not looking for anything particular. I've found a few websites, but they were very generic or didn't have the info I was looking for. Like "____ is the goddess of ____" Then has a lil detail, etc. Thanks!

I'm thinking at least 10 percent should go to Habib for introducing me to whatever floating bunny in the sky that told me to drink more vodka to find enlightenment. This jack rabbit of all trades, also told me to find the golden flashing carrot on the nearby highway for further instruction. As of right now, I'm typing to you on my blackberry while the non belivers are cursing my pilmgare to the holy temple of the flashing carrot.

It seems odd to me, people can use a microscope to discover so many different types of very small living creatures, but if they see a fertilized embryo through the same tool, they have difficulting observing it as a form of life. Is it life (by any definition), or not? It's much larger, and far more complex than most single cell creatures.
