Mother Baptist

Dad Atheist

Me Muslim

Growing up my Dad always told me I had to find what I believed and not allow for someone to in his words "brain wash me into believing what they believe." Because of this I researched the beliefs of people. I did this for 10 years before I reverted to Islam.

My mother is a different story. She was never very religious but now she is totally against me and my beliefs, and still is. But we have at this point agreed to disagree and juts do not talk about it. I think that she thinks I will grow out of it. But as long as we are not fighting I am happy.

Yes I practice Krishna Consciousness, and they are Christian. But We also accept Christ as the son of God the way the original Essenes do we follow the original Gospel before King Constantine misconstrued everything. go to gospelofthenazirenes if you are interested in the real New Testament. My parents respect us very much now because they see that it is authentic and we follow Christs teachings strictly.

I became a wiccan (with an interest in the philosophy of Jesus) while my mother is Baptist/Pentacostal and my sister is Evangelical. Needless to say we don't talk religion, and I have never been happier, especially since I could care less about what idiocy and hypocrisy my family believes in.

Im agnostic and my partner is Christian. My father is Christian and my mother came from a jewish background. Both my brother and sister claim christianity. Its a colourful mix and all of us respect each others beliefs.

Im fullterm (40wks) pregnant with my first child. I have talked about religion with my partner in concern to our baby and have decided to just let him ask questions as he gets older and let him choose his own path.

It's hard, I can't talk to them about much of anything, because I know that they either won't understand, or give me advice that won't help. I feel very different then my blood family, but I have my Christian family that have been such a blessing.

I think a lot of families don't agree on religion. Normally, our family doesn't discuss it much to a degree, but there are a few ground rules we agree on.
