Satanists are atheists who don't believe in a literal Satan, or hell. Satanists view the Bible's representation of Satan as the way all humans should live - by their own accord.

It is written all those who deny Christ and worship Satan will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Rev 20:1-3
1And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. 2He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

Rev 20:7-15
7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Satanists who worship Satan expect to be rewarded in this life.

Why would Satan punish sinners in the afterlife unless he is on the side of goodness? Wouldn't an evil Satan reward sinners in the afterlife, after all they would be on his team, yes?

Seems to me there is a lot of confusion about Satan and what it boils down to is this: Satan is how we perceive Christ when our hearts are (in our own opinions) full of evil and sin. We project the state we perceive our souls to be in upon Christ and Christ mirrors back the devil we see in ourselves so Christ looks like Satan to anyone who believes in Heaven, Hell, Christ, Satan and God, and who believes themselves to be evil sinners.

The afterlife is whatever we choose to make it and if we do not know this and willfully create it to be what we wish it to be then we default to creating an afterlife modelled after our beliefs about the afterlife. So Christian afterlives are typically centered around their beliefs in Heaven and Hell.

They agree with satan's goal in that they want to be gods who are in control of their lives and the lives of those around them. This doesn't happen when they worship satan, but they haven't realize that he is a skillful liar and that they are being duped.

Jesus said of him:

John 8:42-47
43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47 He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."

Satanists do not worship Satan. They don't even believe in him.

Check out the Wikipedia on Satanism--it's quite well done.

Actually he will NOT torture them. He is not the ruler in hell, he is the lowest, most tortured being in hell. It is absence from God's grace mixed with all our own sin and evil and consequences thereof, and the consequences of all sin that will torture them. Just knowing before they get to hell that they missed God, will be the main punishment in hell. Satan sure is looking to take as many of God's loved ones to hell with him as he can though.

Satanists trust that because God has no power over devil, he won't be able to pressure devil to burn human beings and there is not some thing scuffling with devil from making Hell nicer than Heaven. If God had power over devil, he would remove him once and fo all.

Satanists DO NOT WORSHIP Satan. He is used as a symbolic figure, being that the ideaology is all about doing things for yourself, not others. Opposite of Christianity....whats the opposite of the Chrisitan God? They stole the Christian symbol of evil, like Christians stole all their symbols from others.

Apparently - many think it will be one big party
But Satan has one purpose and that is to gain and destroy souls - he will use whatever means he can, and he is clever - he attracts us with vanity, greed, power, wealth - all the corruptions, but he is friends with no one and cause unomaginable suffering for those lost to him for eternity.
