What about giving to charity?
What about community work?
What about helping the poor?

When did you last do any of this?

i pose this question earlier but i did not word it correctly.but the fact still remains that some do use that for the basis of their arguement.at least the ones i have spoken to,that god does not exist.believing in god is not a mindless act because true faith is based on evidence and one can only gather evidence through careful research .then and only then ,once all evidence is gather can one make a intelligent conclusion on the facts that are presented by the evidence

Ok, me and this guy from work were having this conversation about how this girl said on yahoo answers that my religion was driven by fear. I was telling him how I thought she was right. I said "Even if i knew it was right (refering to Christianity) ( i might have said "even if it was right" im not really sure which one i said but i think i said "even if i knew it was right") and it didn't have that (hell) then i wouldn't care. Basically i was trying to say the only reason I care so much about my faith is because the reality of hell. Now im afraid again that I denied God. Your probably going to think this is sad but i need assurance again that everything is ok. Please don't answer my question if you don't believe in the Bible. Thankyou.

Our church used to be packed, had an awesome choir and the service was so inspiring. Now we listen to a simply horrible organist. He has a contract. Is there anything the congregation can do? The pastor really doesn't seem to care. We could all go to other churches, or is there a solution?

The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the deity of a parody religion founded in 2005 by Oregon State University physics graduate Bobby Henderson to protest the decision by the Kansas State Board of Education to require the teaching of intelligent design as an alternative to biological evolution.

In an open letter on his website, Henderson professes belief in a supernatural Creator that resembles spaghetti and meatballs called the Flying Spaghetti Monster, and calls for "Pastafarianism" to be taught in science classrooms, essentially invoking a reductio ad absurdum argument against the teaching of intelligent design. Followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) call themselves Pastafarians, a portmanteau of pasta and Rastafarian.

It in no coincidence that 99.9% of people on this earth are the religon they were raised to belive. If someone with a fanatical personality was born in america with super religous christians parents they will most likely be a fanatical christians. If that same person was raised in Afganistan by fantical muslims they would be a fanatical muslim. So why are they different? They both do ANYTHING asked by their religon and reject anything that does not agree with what they were taught. Is salvation location?

According to this website, http://www.auburn.edu/~allenkc/trinity.html#_1_5, Jesus constantly refers to GOD (in the Bible, "Father") as God. So where does the idea of Jesus's being a God come from? I'm only asking...
On that same website, you'll see:
VII. Bible Verses Prove Trinity False
Listed below are over a hundred individual Bible verses which prove conclusively that Jesus Christ was not God.... We urge all sincere Christians to examine their own Bibles as to the accuracy of this information.
Matthew 3:16-17; 8:29; 11:27; 12:18; 14:33; 16:16-17; 17:5; 27:54
Mark 5:7; 15:39
Luke 1:32; 1:35; 8:28; 9:35; 10:22
John 1:13; 1:18; 1:34; 1:49; 3:16; 5:19-23; 5:37; 6:40; 6:69; 8:18; 8:42; 10:15; 10:36; 11:4; 12:49-50; 14:13; 14:23; 14:28; 16:17; 17:1-16; 20:17; 20:31
Acts 2:22-24; 3:13; 3:26; 9:20
Romans 1:4; 5:10; 8:29
1 Corinthians 11:3; 15:28

...
And many other things.
Peace and blessings of God be upon us all. Aameen.

Jesus

So far about Noah, Joseph and Moses. Let's have a quick look at the Jesus of the Qur'an as well. I don't remember where it was, but somewhere I read that Muhammad said something like "of all the prophets I am most like Jesus." And in other sources, he reported saying:

"The prophets are brothers of different mothers, but their religion is one. Of all men I am the most deserving to be the brother of Jesus Son of Mary, for there was no prophet between me and him." [Al Hendy, Kanzol 'Ummal, Vol. 17, Hadith No. 1033]
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Both in this world and in the Hereafter, I am the nearest of all the people to Jesus, the son of Mary. The prophets are paternal brothers; their mothers are different, but their religion is one." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 652]

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Prophet (PBUH) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (PBUH) [Sunan of Abu Dawud,Book 37, Number 4310]

do you know?

In Portland, Oregon... the most unchurched state, someone can cush you out and it doesn't matter. But if you say anything about Jesus, or tell someone they are a sinner they are all pissed off?

Funny story: I was walking downtown, when some guy stood up and started preaching I ignored him, but some lady told him he was out of line and didn't want to hear it. He just said, "Jesus loves you." She snapped and threatened him. Some other people started threatening him after he only said that Jesus loves you. I don't see it. I was born in Brasil, I never seen such ruckess over Jesus since the Crusades.

Personally, I feel that Jesus loves everyone... that's true. He was a pacifist and his followers have issues. I thinks it's funny that people bash christians but isn't better to have faith in something than not?
