Yes only a hundred and forty-four thousand are going to heaven. They will rule as Priest and Kings with Christ. But then John sees another vision and there were great multitudes of people dressed in white robes with palm branches in their hands. These are the ones that will live on earth. I'm not a JW, just someone who has studied the bible.

If only 144,000 get to go to Heaven, dont you think Heaven would be full by now...what would be the point of living right and repenting of your sins daily if you were gonna be living in paradise anyway...They think that we are gonna be living in paradise on earth after the judgement...so according to them , there is no Hell that the Bible speaks of too...nor do they believe in the Trinity...They have also published their own version of the Bible, even though the Bible plainly says not to add to or take away from the words written ...Revelation 22:18 and 19..I really dont see why they say they follow the Bible, when it is plain to see that they dont...I sorta feel like its a cult to and thats why they want people to join...Dont know for sure though and to each his own i guess...

Because if they try to be greedy and keep it to themselves then they will definitely not be going to Heaven. As it stands, there are more JW's than there are tickets to Heaven, so they already know some of them are screwed. They figure if they gather as many people as they can they will get their ticket to Heaven. It's a cycle.

Think about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and how everybody was buying as many Wonka Bars as they could to find the golden ticket.

first of all its Jehovah's Witnesses not Jehovah's Witness. They believe only a select few (144,000) go to heaven but the rest have a earthly hope to live on a paradise forever. The ones that are going to heaven just know that they are chosen and the earthly ones are just as important in their purpose on earth. and they don't push people out....stop being so ignorant and read the bible!

The one who goes to heaven are already chosen. The ones knocking on your door are most likely not going to heaven either. But they do believe in Paradise. After God kills all the evil people the world will be turned into a paradise and those who were faithful to Jehovah will live in it.

The preaching work is performed because Jesus commanded it, not because it benefits Jehovah's Witnesses personally or as a religion.

The fact is that the vast majority of Witnesses hope to enjoy life ON EARTH forever, rather than in heaven. Jehovah's Witnesses understand heaven to refer to the dwelling place of spirit creatures such as Jesus and the angels. They understand the Scriptures to teach that exactly 144,000 humans will join Christ Jesus as kings and priests to administer God's Kingdom (which will soon replace all earthly governments).
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
(Revelation 14:1) Lamb [Jesus] standing upon the Mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand
(Revelation 20:6) they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and will rule as kings with him

The men and women who make up the 144,000 are selected by God from among two thousand years of Christians. Over whom will they rule? Over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”

Hell is NOT someplace/something mankind needs to fear; there is no suffering in the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire

Almighty Jehovah God selects those few who have the heavenly calling. Each person "feels" his own hope and each person's hope remains unquestioned by his fellow Christians. Still the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%*) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]

What if they believe they are the select few and for them it is not yet enough?

because the people who deserve to go to heaven are the people who want other people to go to heaven, and the people who deserve to go to Hell are the people who send other people to Hell, you know, like God.
